The Turnigy FBL100 is a feature packed micro 3D helicopter like no other! Its advanced 3-axis flybarless system not only reduces drag on the rotor head, it also greatly increases the precision and agility of flight. This, combined with its ultra light airframe delivers a level of power and responsiveness that is un-matched by any other micro 3D heli on the market today.
This micro heli is truly 3D capable - inverted flight, flips, loops, rolls and funnels, the FBL100 can do it all! Despite its ultra capable flight characteristics, the FBL100 is also quite stable thanks to its precision flybarless control system. This means that it is a great way for new pilots transitioning from a basic coaxial or fixed pitch heli to learn how to fly a 3D heli without the fear of a large investment or costly repairs.
If your looking for exciting 3D heli action indoors or out, or simply looking to get into collective pitch helis without spending a fortune on larger models, the FBL100 is for you! It arrives completely ready to fly including a stylish and ergonomic 2.4gHz radio transmitter, two 3.7V 300mAh lipoly batteries, lipoly charger, spare blades and rotor head linkage rods. Simply charge the included flight batteries and your ready to fly!

the receiver this package comes with, is it removeable at all? or is it part of the circuit board? essentially can I buy this and then use the provided TX and RX on another plane that i have?
Steve if you really wanted to you could always buy the mcpx board swap it and fly with a dsm orange transmitter. For me its too much of a hasle. This is a beautiful little micro heli and you would not really appreciate it if you havent flown a coaxle or fixed pitch its difficult to explain.
Please, I need help for my new Turnigy FBL100 I bought at Hobby King, look at video of link > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZBtn85u664 and tell me if it is normal for the dancer's movement along with the throttle , can not fly with this model, he came to me today and even flew with it yet
I love my FBL100. Fly's fantastic and takes a real beating. I crashed mine 5 times while upside down before I finally broke a part (broke the tail off connection on the body). I don't think I would mount a camera on it if I was going to be doing acrobatics. I'm sure it would hose up the aerodynamics on such a small bird. Good luck and have fun!
Hi, I have just bought my helicopter FBL100 and more the system (micro FPV) consisting of Micro Camera with LED Lamp 420TVL and 2.4Ghz 4 Channel AV Transmitter and Receiver FPV 200mW always taken on HK. I would like to know what you think and if anyone has installed this system on this helicopter. Thank's
the overall weight of the system FPV is about 13 g. can you tell me more or less how many grams the helicopter is able to raise in addition to its weight?
thank's
The instability of this helicopter which was impossible to take off, came from the antenna of the receiver which had not left and had not twisted behind a printed circuit. Once the released antenna the helicopter took off well right.
Hey people, so iv had my chopper for bout 2 weeks and I'm still yet to fly it as I can't the battery to fit in! I have a shattered finger that's in a cast and was wondering if its a pain in the **** to get it in when ya have 2 goods hands or if I'm just a munter? Cheers
Well now that is weird. The battery that came with mine was a bit difficult, with the wires so short.. but it did fit. Maybe check for casting flanges around the battery holder?
Thanks, but all I can see that could be causing it to not fit is a small block on the plastic bit of the battery. I have 4 batteries and they are all the same. I was gonna put a bit of a tapper on it so I can wedge it in but don't want it to fall out while flying like a crazy man.
will this transmiter easily bind to future recievers which i may own if so which one........i am excitedly waiting for my order and as a newbee the cupboard full of transmitters can be avoided thanks tim
your about to get awarded best answer if you can help me understand which single transmitter..should i look at..my direction is helicopters and definatly multi rotor.......the price of the turnigy 9is ok and i rad that different locations have different power restrictions .......as a man i am interested in the items with the more power.and that may not be the offering in australia..can you advise
The transmitter thats with the heli is the only one that will work with it. (as far as i know) You could also get yourself a HISKY HT8 module. Then you could get a Turnigy 9X. They are awesome 9channel transmitters! Goodluck!

This is main settings but be carefully because i had not propperly assembled the head and was the unscrew during the flight.
I had lost some parts but hobbyking sad ther is no their fault, no guarantee issue etc. The guarantee and platinium membership is piece of sh....t.
hi my order is 2006533165 and received the helicopter but I want to know if I have some kind of guarantee as the helicopter arrived with gyro problems I leave a link of the problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fsN89XWvlk thanks for the attention given
I believe your heli is OK. They don't like a slow spool up, you gotta jump them off the ground. Most of my helis are the same way. Throttle up, switch to idle up mode, and pop off the ground.
When switch is on IDLE motor is very weak, its not on 100%. Could there be a problem with the board or radio? Also I changed rear motor, heli flies OK. But when increasing power, rear end twists to the right. Rear end does not hold. And lastly, does the radio have dual rate? Its way to sensitive for me.
No dual rates, which is too bad. For the lack of power, one thing to check is the swash plate. be sure the bearing hasn't come loose. Sometimes mine poops slightly out of place. It still flies, but is really weak. Does the kv rating of the replacement tail rotor motor match the original?
I assume the rear engine is the same, it's a FBL 100 spare parts motor. Swash plate is totally fine. Lots of power when not using IDLE switch, so it's something electronic failure.
Another thing, the mainboard on heli is not in line with boom tail, should it be? Here are som pictures: "*******flic.kr/s/aHsjEMJQUx" (without quotes).
The main board could be the issue. Mine is 90°* to the tail. Another thing to check, the tail rotor blade direction. It is possible the rotor blade is on backwards.
Where the main board attaches to the main frame is a weak point on this heli. I changed mine to a carbon fiber mcpx unit from eBay. It is much more durable.
I have 2 questions,
First i saw brushless upgrades here in HK for the MCPX, So can i use it on this plane ?
I'm confused bec what i know is this plane comes in 1 board including brushed esc, gyro and rx,
so how can i connect this to a brushless esc for the new motors ?
Second, I'm not an expert, but i noticed that the tail is a little bit weak when u start flying 3D, which is very common in micro 3D helis, so any possible upgrades i can make to the tail to hold more, may be a bigger tail blade or a stronger motor, and i changed the battery, it performs better, but the tail still very weak.
installed a carbon fiber frame and skids made for the mcpx (ebay) It has tail boom supports that really stiffen things up. I'm not sure if the brushless upgrade will work, or if it's even worth the effort.
Hi Guys,
It is wery well describet how to fly in Idle off mode in the manuals and here on the forom.
Can somebody describe how to change to idele on mode for 3D flying. I would not like to demage the heli on starting up.
Should the idle switch be turned on befor conecting batery to the heli or during the flight.
hi, you have to manually spool up your rotor. that means you set de power at approximately to middle Position. short before it lifts off, then you set de idle up Switch on your remote control on. now you can lift off with constant rpm. that means when you lower the pitch, the rpm remains constant and the pitch will be negati. the same with positive pitch. i hope it will help you...
Swisspilot thanks for explaning. Idle switch is clear now. What is the function of th. hold switch. Is it something like goverment mode on standard esc or just keep the rpm from the moment it is switsh on.
Throttle hold cuts the throttle. that means the motor stops if you set throttle hold to on. us this switch short before you crash if your helicopter is out of control. that will minimize the damage of the helicopter...
just nice to now: on bigger heli opters this switch is used to fly autorotation
Hello, I have just received a helicopter FBL100, but I cannot make it take off, because of instability on the axis of rolling. It lies down on the right-sided or left. The trim is not precise so that it is stable. This is the gyroscope which is already except service…* Merci for your assistance.
Hello, make sure thad the Heli stays on flat ground wenn you plug in the battery. The heli makes a reset of the gyro control wenn the system starts. Make sure thad you have enoug space bevor you make the first take of. Dont touch the direction stick untill your off the ground. The middle of the trim you can find by the diffrent acustic signal.
Thank you Ruedi for your assistance. Indeed the initialization of the gyroscope was not long enough with starting. The helicopter is now stable on the axis of rolling on takeoff. Thank you very much!

1 thumbs up!
This little heli is slightly larger than Solo Pro v2.Difference in performance is amazing.Flew straight out of the box with little trim adjustment. The controller doesn't have digital display, which is annoying,no way to adjust pitch/throttle curves,or see how far trim is adjusted.Control takes 4xAA -I bought the new Nickel Zinc 1.6v cells which work a treat. One really annoying thing is that you need to remove canopy to change battery -canopy ends up breaking form all the fiddling around The landing gear broke in the first couple of crashes, the tail boom is especially fragile and broke twice near the base(after first time I trimmed it shorter and re-inserted),ended up replacing the fragile boom with solid CF rod from HK250pro boom mount, with wires running externally and covered with heat shrink -very solid now and has survived numerous crashes. The main Gear slips down, there was no screw or nut holding it in place-had to use CA glue to secure. Flew in moderate wind conditions -this heli handled it very well and stayed controllable All in all,a very good heli -walks all over the Solo Pro V2 and is stronger Out of action now due to broken servo after crash -why doesn't HK stock parts?

This is a very nice little helicopter. While it flies very well, the main advantage to this model is the fact that you can crash it over and over - I very rarely land this model back on the pad. This gives you the confidence to try stuff you normally wouldn't do - I've started inverted and backwards circuits, piroflips (a bit weak with this model, but possible) and grass cutting.
Having a pair of batteries is a nice bonus, as is the crash kit. I would have liked to see some performance blades included, rather than the second set of fast blades. I have yet to use most of the parts, but I've been through a couple sets of landing gear (after about twenty flights) and my canopy is in very rough shape.
Parts are generally interchangeable with the Blade MCPx model, with some differences. I wanted to install the new longer Blade boom, but the tail motor connector was different so I'll have to do some soldering if I want to use this.
Overall, I'm very happy with this model and I'm hoping to transfer some new skillz to my larger models!

The helicopter works acceptably but mine came with the elevator servo potentiometer defective and when you do move oscillates up and down allowing the heli very unstable.
It is intolerable that sell a helicopter invoking an alleged backing of spares that have never had stock. The only parts of this helicopter are as deception, took several months to a pending order paid to replenish stocks, It took several months to a pending order paid to replenish stocks, but they never get it seems that no agreement with any supplier.
