The Bonsai is a fun combat wing made from almost unbreakble EPP foam that is easy and cheap to build and will provide hours of "fly it like you stole" it fun!
Wings of course have a huge flight envelope, its one of the reasons they are so popular, you can trickle along at walking pace, fly aerobatic or just see exactly how low n fast you can get away with! Get it wrong? No problem, 5 minutes with some cyano & kicker and you are back in the air with a silly grin on your face!
With the reccomended power train, your Bonsai will have plenty of performance and wont cost the earth. You and your flying buddies can have hours of fun ripping up the sky with some high adrenalin combat flying safe in the knowledge that when the inevitable happens, you can fix it in double quick time!
Could someone suggest a motor available at the US warehouse that will be good for flying this bonsai low and slow. I want to be able to fly on confined spaces like the parking lot at work so I don't need top end speed. I want more low end power.
My setup on this bonsai was a 24gram 1700kv 850mah 25 cell 2 9gram servos 10amp plush and i cut off about a quarter of an inch off of the elevons and fit in a 7x6 and it flew great i could fly it 5 feet off the ground going slow as can be or i could go unlimited vertical no problem. This was my setup and it was great no problems at all.
even at its size i run mine with an EMP 2800kV lil outrunner w/ 5x4 prop.on 3s 460mA pack this thing goes like stink.awsome verticle and slows down to a crawl while still being stable.i think im gonna purchase a bunch for gifts,thnx for a nice inexpensive kit!
I put a Turnigy 2627 Brushless 3800kv on mine and it is nuts! I had to spray paint one side completely black because I kept losing how it was oriented. It gets so far away so quickly!
They sold out the first day :( I asked them when there will be more and I was told the usual 2-4 weeks to get more stock. The stupid thing is they have tons of them in stock in Hong Kong, so they aren't waiting on the manufacturer... Just send hundreds of them!!!

Why frown?? I wish I could have gotten one. I do not understand why they don't bring in hundreds of these things... They know they will sell through. Kinda pisses me off lol.
scroll up... Shadyatbest has the right idea, they have tons of them and now in differnt colors, you dont have to get the "ed hardy design". i bought a few from there ended up being the same price, and they are identical.
WOW!!!, I ordered Three of these wings from the USA warehouse for me and some buddies. the The planes are made with some tough epp foam. I experimented with some power sytems untill I found the right one. AX 1806n 2500kv, with a Hobbyking 8-10a Esc. with a Gws 5030 prop. On 2s 950mah its floats nice with some Acrobatic. On 3s 850mah hold on to your socks cuz it Rocks. Motor barely got warm, Esc was begging for more. good Luck Ps the foam smells like Dead Rats.
Great kit. And for $20 you really can't find cheaper fun. it comes with all of the hardware for the plane, but you have to add all of the electronics. It it a really easy build and it flies decent.
My son and I have really enjoyed this plane. Easy to setup. I don't care for the heat shrinked control rods. Made my own. Great flyer and takes a beating!!

Insanely fun plane, insanely cheap and an overall quality wing. I actually sold my techone popwing once this one arrived. The price is half of the techs and the quality is just as good, if not better. My setup is: turnigy plush 10amp, AX 1806N 2500kv motor, and 3s 850mah nanotechs on a gws 5030 and it screams! It will also come to a crawl if you back of the throttle and is stable as can be slow or fast. Easily reinforced with carbon fiber strips or rods if you are going to be doing combat :) A
