Ultra fast microprocessor controlled and extremely low resistance circuit and chip design, water-proof PCB, and aluminum water-cool heatsink for better thermal dissipation are just some of the features in the new TURNIGY Aquastar range of brushless boat speed controllers.
The AquaStar brushless esc is a high performance ESC capable of standard and competition use.

i purchased 2 of these i dont recommend running 6s fried both of them both went fine on 4s running 2000kv leopard in my genesis 40mm prop

Just received 3 of these for our RC Boats, easy to set up, and very responsive, however 2 of them dropped one of the motor leads (Black) off the circut board. Either it was ***r soldering or would it be from to much heat?? Just interested to know if anyone else had the same problem.

will the turnigy watercooled aquastar 120 plug straight in to my Hornet F1 boat and wwork with my HK GT2 Radio unit? is there a cheaper ESC that will plug straight in to my Boat? regards Chris

get the old version 120 a u will be happy i use this old once with twin cat 2700kv motors on 5s pulling 112amps without no problems

Very disappointing product, mine faulty from the factory. Within 5 seconds of connecting the ESC to my receiver, a hissing & crackling sound could be heard, then the magic blue smoke was emitted. Disconnected from receiver, then tried connecting to power leads to my LIPO battery with same result, except even more magic blue smoke. Upon closer examination I noted that one side of the heat sink was sitting lower than the other side, a manufacturing issue. My guess is that this fault caused a short circuit (either directly or indirectly) on the circuit board resulting in the failure. All in all, very disappointing considering I have paid over $70 AUD for the ESC. That said, the ESC does appear to be very good quality & has impressive specs. Purchased from Hobby King Australia

Put this in my Hornet Formula F1.Wont have to worry now about burning out the original.Programming card makes it a breeze to program. Great value compared to the local Hobby Shop.
