Bought this motor as a replacement for the Trojan T28D, unfortunately didnt come with a prop adapter (needed for this installation), anyone know the part number for the needed 3-hole prop adapter? Thanks

there are to ways to do it...you can buy motor accessories pack (part# NTM35-ACC).. or I have done it by pushing the shaft thew the bell and using a collar on the mount side of the shaft....
What i meant is if you have a motor that has threaded holes ON BOTH SIDES and want to use it inside a fuselage that has a firewall drilled for mounting ON THE INSIDE OF FIREWALL, how do you REVERSE the motor shaft so that the mounting holes that normally mounts a motor IN FRONT of firewall are used for inside mounting, inside of fuselage firewall...not outside against firewall angelo 1939
Angelo, is this a general question about reversing motor shafts, or specific to this motor? This motor can be mounted inside firewall as-is by using the main 4mm DIA motor shaft for your prop. You would only need the bolt-on 6mm DIA shaft from the accessory pack if you wanted outside firewall mount. IF you wanted outside mount, AND do not want to use the bolt-on shaft, you can reverse the shaft - but I don't think that's what you're after.
Angelo1939: You are making this more complicated than it is. Just as Prop-a-Gator stated, You do not need to reverse the shaft for install behind firewall. The four mounting holes are on the side of the motor with the shaft already sticking out. So just place motor behind firewall with shaft sticking through the firewall and screw on your bolts from the outside of firewall to secure motor.
If you purchase the accessory pack it comes with a bolt on shaft that mounts directly to the 3 bolts you see in the photo. I guess if you don't have room you would just cut off the standard www.link
Angelo, i totally understand what your saying, all you have to do is switch up one of the two wires, leave the red to red and switch the blue to black or what ever the other color is... sometimes its yellow, but go black to the other color and this will make the motor turn the other way and will be perfectly fine! hope this solves your problem.
*Lee...lol, apparently not. He isn't asking about reversing the polarity of the motor. He is asking about reversing the shaft so that it stick out on the opposite end for mounting inside facing the firewall, so that the firewall sits between the motor and the prop.
The answer is, you do not have to reverse it. You can mount it on the inside of the fuselage with the shaft facing foward to mount the prop. The side of the motor with the shaft sticking out already has the 4 mounting holes. The side without the shaft sticking out has only three mounting holes which is for use with the bolt on prop adapter that needs to be purchased seperately,

The specs for this motor are not right. Flew with a 12-6 apc and a 3 cell 2200 and the motor overheated within 5 minutes of flight and burnt up the coils. It was especially tough mounting too being there was no hardware included at all. The motor seemed to be of great quality, i would just test for myself instead of trusting the posted data.
