Turnigy nano-tech 180mAh 2S 25C Lipo Pack (E-flite micro series compatible) (USA Warehouse)

Designed specifically for the E-flite micro and UMX series. A direct replacement for EFLB1802S20

More punch, more power and longer flight times are only the beginning. When tested with the E-flite micros, the differences between a regular pack and the nano-tech where remarkable! Power output and flight time were greatly improved due to the higher discharge rate and true capacity.

Bring your E-flite micro to life with the nano-tech upgrade cells!

* The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives.
1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.
2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion.
Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.
Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries;
-Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
-Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
-Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly.
-Greater thermal control, pack usually doesnt exceed 60degC
-Thickness swelling during heavy load doesnt exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly during heavy load.
-Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
-Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
-Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

Omar - I'm not familiar with rc-connectors. Can you identify exactly what I need? Do you have a URL?

Is there an adapter to fit regular motors (JST)? Also: What's a good charger to use for these?
 Omar 20 points
Yes check out rc-connectors**** they have cables to convert to jst. Any charger with would work fine as long as you have the E-flite cable with banana connection also available at rc-connectors****

Hi I would like to know what is the recommended charging rate for the Turnigy Nano-tech 180 mah 25C EFLB1802S20 7.4v? Thank you for taking the time to consider my request. Dave

.2, however after cycling a few times i kicked mine up to .45. i do balance on every charge, not sure if the balance slows the charge, but will give more life to the battery

Just ordered an eflite stryker micro since they are so cheap and went straight to hobbyking to see if they sold any spare batteries for it. I saw this and was wondering if it would charge off of my normal 2s lipo charger. thanks all.

I just received my order of three of these. They fit my Eflight Sbach just fine but... These batteries do NOT have a JST connector so they don't fit in my current balance li-po charger. There isn't a standard lead to connect a micro-deans connector. Is there a charger or a conversion plug that I can use to charge this battery with the special "Eflight Ultra Micro" style plug?
 Aaron 5 points
These are identical as far as connectors go to the eflite batteries......originally, when I 1st got a couple of these, I too was frustrated by not being able to use my charger, but I ended up just making my own adapter.....now u can find them on ebay for only a couple bucks though, & shouldn't be too hard to find.

can i plug this battery to a cellmeter 8 that hobbyking sells to check if they are balanced and to check the voltage?

Can someone give me a straight answer..Is the plug on this battery a direct fit to the UM beast v1? I've seen that theres two 180's that hk is carrying..Thanks..
 Paul 39 points
Yes the UMX utilizes what we normally think as the balance tap as the charge and discharge connector. This battery will work just fine. No need for the version with the Micro JST Connector!

thank you Paul..I've had the beast in the closet and thought i'd get it out and order a few batts for it. And again Thank You Paul!

These will work perfectly in the Micro Beast! Thank you and your welcome!!

Can I use this in my 1/24 Micro 4X4 Trail Trekker
 Jeff 28 points
Those have a different batter connector. These are for the E-Flite planes. You could always cut the end off and put on the one in your Trail Trekker, but then you would have issues charging it (Uses one plug for both charging and power delivery.)

I can tell u fix a 350mAh in a losi micro t. so im guessing u can do it one way or another
 knifeedge63 22 points
No you cannot use these batteries in the truck. These where designed specificly for the Eflite and Parkzone brushless UMX airplanes.

3 of the 4 ordered work and work well... better than the stock battery they are meant to replace. One came in under voltage and had to be trashed.

Ordered 5 of these from the US Warehouse. Charged and flew all 5 in my UMX Carbon Cub today. Flew 5 minutes flights on each of them. I don't have a way of checking how many volts or mAH will be put back into the packs, but I can tell you that there is more power than the stock battery. A lot more punch when I go to full throttle. I will order more.

Just got two today. Fits perfectly in UMF27Q Stryker. About 20pcnt smaller than stock. While a little taller, fits perfect. While lighter, you shove all the way forward and leaves a LOT more room (not much with stock battery) and stick wires neatly in space. I have not flown on it yet, but it's lighter weight shouldn't be a problem as stock was slightly nose heavy up front anyway. For only 20mah smaller, it's 20pcnt smaller, so I'm liking it. I was thinking of getting the 260mah, but I think i'll stick with this size. I'll update later this week after a few flights. Only thing I did notice, is that while charging on stock battery, it is in balancing mode (stock battery never did that).
