Turnigy nano-tech 6000mah 2S2P 65~130C Hardcase Lipo Pack (USA Warehouse)

More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech lithium polymer batteries are built with an LiCo  nano-technology substrate complex greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance.

In short, less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery.

Unfortunately with other big brands, numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives.

1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.
2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion.
Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries:
-Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
-Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
-Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly.
-Greater thermal control, pack usually doesnt exceed 60degC
-Thickness swelling during heavy load doesnt exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly during heavy load.
-Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
-Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
-Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

willl this it a Turnigy TrackStar One Cell 120A 1/12th And 1/10th Scale Sensored Brushless Car ESC
and how long would it run
 nes 23 points
yes it will run with that esc, runtime however depends on your amp draw if your drawing 40 amps then you might get about 15 minutes of constant run time out of this.

I have a 2wd short course truck I run at a local track with a 7.5 turn motor and I easily get more than 30 minutes on a charge. It really depends on your car motor and driving style.

Awesome battery for my SCTE. 7 minute main is no problem. Barely gets warm. Tons of power on tap. Only complaint... Wish these and the 6600 were easier to get in the US warehouse.

After having several Maxamp, Protec and SMF lipo packs I decided to give the Nano packs a try. I ordered several and started using them as soon as they arrived. I had ordered the Nano 6000s. After only 3 months of normal use (I race everyother week) I had one that puffed and deformed the positive terminal. I sent it in. While it was away another did the same thing. The motor (Tekin 4.5 with a Tekin RX8 in a Losi 4x4) was geared properly and came off the track consistantly at 125 degrees. Voltage cutoff was active each time for a 2 cell lipo. I always balance charged it too. I was preparing to send the second one in when I was notified by tech that my first pack was not warranteed (only a 30 day warranty of which it took 21 days for it to reach my house). Now I understand that the warranty is stated and all. But 3 months of battery life is extremely short considering the proper care given and all. They didnt even offer me a discount on a new pack to keep a satisfied customer. I know rules are rules but I feel, even though they are 1/3 the cost of a Maxamp, they are not a deal in the long run. Sorry Turnigy, Im going back to Maxamps and their 3 year warranty.

I bought two of the 6000 packs for use in my sc10 4x4. Truck runs a reedy 4000 brushless motor, xp 1200 esc. Users often refer to the burst the packs give their vehicle and this is no different. The batteries make this truck scream down the track. The packs never get hot, I get plenty of run time and perform above my expectations. I will be ordering more in the future.

I bought one of these as they were supposed to be better than the 6600's for punch. Unfortunately, I had the opposite experience and my 6600's are better both in run time and punch. This is a solid battery, and I've had no issues with it, but I like the 6600 better.
