This Rarebear features a detailed canopy, pilot figure and the all important upgraded 4s Compatible ESC which means true 100 mph+ performance is possible with NO mod's & no extra outlay, just drop in a Turnigy 4s 850mAh~1000mAh pack and prepare to be impressed!
The combination of the light weight EPO airframe, a high power brushless motor and a simple aileron and elevator setup place these models amongst the most exhilarating park flyers to hit the market this year. Dont be left out of the fun!
This model comes plug and fly and only requires a few minutes of assembly time and flies like its on rails thanks to the one piece molding technique used in the construction. All you will require to have the Rarebear in the air is a 3~4S 850mAh 20C Lipoly battery and your own transmitter and receiver (Tx/Rx), see the attached video for some 3s & 4s flight footage and some info regarding the ESC Mod that we at Hobbyking insisted on.

ja, geht problemlos... mehr als 5,2 x 5,2 hats bei mir aber nicht gbracht. Se wird kaum schneller, aber der Akku schneller leer. Achte auf die Querruderanlenkungen... die hats im Flug rausgerissen. Sonst ein super Flieger...

Tolles Modell, hab die Rarebear aus dem int. Warenhaus - ist aber mit Sicherheit identisch. Den Regler habe ich direkt gegen ein 10$-HK-Modell ersetzt, da es doch viele negative Berichte (durchgebrannter Regler) mit 4S gibt.
Die Motorbefestigung sollte man nachkleben, hat sich beim 4. Flug (Landung) gelöst, als der Prop einen minimalen Schlag bekommen hat.
Wers noch schneller will, baut einen 2826/6 2200KV ein oder wechselt den Prop.
Mit 4S 850mah fliegt die Rarebear "out of the box" perfekt, werde noch die 1300er probieren.
Da meine Flächen am Ansatz beide einen kleinen Schaden hatten, gibts bei "Quality" nur 4 Sterne.
Modell ist äußerst robust, Absturz mit Überschlag wegen Funkausfall (Senderakku leer) führte nur zu verbogener Fläche und HLW, war mit dem Fön in 10 Minuten wieder geradegebogen.

fantastic airplane, changed the esc with a 55amp from hobbyking, mounted an other prop 5x5 with small spinner, the rest is stock, fly's verry fast.
5 min flight at almost full throttle, esc barely warm.

Superbe modele tres rapide et maniable malgre l absence de derive...manque aussi un train d atterrissage pour atterir sur piste...l ESC d origine a lair de piètre qualité et a ete remplace par un Turnigy AE 20A qui lui sied a merveille pour le vol en 4S qui pardonne ses petits defauts...la conception epp est aussi étonnamment robuste ...a conseiller pour ceux qui cherchent une vraie ptite bombe...

amici Italiani,questo aereo è veramente fantasticoooo!!!!!!ordinato la domenica sera mi è stato recapitato il giovedì in perfetto stato e ben imballato,20 minuti di lavoro base e poi subito a volare con la lipo 4S da 1000mah.allora l'aereo è veramente un fulmine più del mio multiplex dogfighter,è molto preciso ma altrettanto agile e nervoso,bisogna lavorare di esponenziali.velocità senza parole credo almeno i 150 KMH con la configurazione di serie.salite a candela incredibili e repentini loop sono un gioco da ragazzi..per quel che riguarda i dati tecnici vi arriva con i connettori dorati piccoli credo da 2mm,io li ho sostituiti,la batteria da 1000 mah 4S 20c è perfetta ,ma credo che sarebbe meglio ancora la 30c.non lo ho provato con la 3S perchè con la 4 è assolutamente il migliore ad un prezzo del genere..COMPERATELO non abbiate dubbi.
Hi i have recive this plane in italy after 3 day by order.all perfect packaging and spedition track.the plane is absolutly fantastic,very very fast,for me 150 KMH (and i have a multiplex dogfighter) stable and the flight is like a ballistic missile.5 star for hobbyking the best plane for this cost and over.its absolutly perfect with a turnigy 4S 1000mah 20c.from 1 week i tested it with a 30c.BUY THIS PLANE.thank you hobbyking.

Maiden Flight today.
This Rare bears performance is awesome.
Stock Prop noisy and unbalanced. so I changed it for a
Graupner Cam Speed Prop 5x5 with best results.
Use Lipo Batt: 3S Nano Tech 850mah 45-90C.
After that great Flight I was really spechless.
Good molded. This is a really race bear and highly
recommended!!! Impressed Mike
