Yes compatible with the usual RX type plugs used on just about all HobbyKing equipment. Just make sure your RX is really close to the controller board though. There's little room to play with. But when you only have a pin and no shell, you refer to the pin type. That's why I would always refer to pins. Length is 3cm.

THEY'RE MALE TO MALE. The description does not describe the metal contacts, but the "male" black plastic part, which slides inside the "female" black plastic part. THE DESCRIPTION IS CORRECT. THESE ARE MALE.

You can not find the female ones.But you can do it by yourself easily. Use 2 servo extension cable.

If you are unsure whether these are M to M or F to F think about when males and females make a baby. The male has the bit that points out and sticks in the females waiting gaping hole. These are therefore F to F

They call them male to male because of the plastic black casing. Inside they are female to female connectors. ideal for multicopters.

If you use these in a RX or female servo plug then the metal takes it and the plastic gives it, therefore hermaphrodite :/ (THIS IS A MALE PLUG)
