Does anybody know how am i supposed to plug the cam cable to the ts352 500mwvTX ? And , i have to tell that there's no black wire as shown on the picture when you cut the rcs plugs to customize and plug to the vtx. I got only Red, white, yellow and the copper naked wire . Which one is audio, video, negative, ground and power ?? ON my ts352 vtx i got green (audio), white(audio), yellow (video), red (vcc )and black (ground)Thanks folks
 teknokraze 79 points
The copper wire will be your black. This is the ground wire which is the same as the black wire. The red is positive power, yellow will be video and white will be audio.

I found that the wiring before the molded bit is a lot neater than after. So cut off the video connector, including the molded bit further down. Then I just crimped on a servo connector and so that I can connect the camera to my OSD. I aso power it with direct from my 2nd 3S battery, it can take upto 15V. Nice camera with a light metal case. The include mount is also useful to attach to a servo for simple planning. Recommended.

someone know if this camera have sound?
 Modellights 15 points
Audio is listed on the outputs, would expect NC for no connection or similar if there wasn't audio..

Is it possible to put this camera instead of the sony cam ? I have the 900 mhz hobyking system and i would like to take this new cam.
 Edward-NZ 20 points
yep solder a female servo connecter to your tx cables then a male connecter on the cables wich come with the camera hope this helps.

hhmmm....I will probably buy one of these soon and try it out and post a a video here (review section of course) and tell you my opinion. I am currently flying with the cheap 17 dollar ones sold here so I imagine there will be a HUGE diffence in quality...stay tuned...

700TVL?
 nige838 19 points
700 lines. The higher the TVL, the clearer the image...
 tushev 52 points
The highest resolution of analog transmission is 640x480(420tvl), so 700tvl, even if it's real is pointless.

Life of a Camera will depend on How you treat it and power it , and fully careful containment restricting vibration and Moisture , Any hard Impacts will break them ,and prolong mistreatment will damage them easy .

I have been using this camera on a Quadrotor for about 8 months and no problems. Great for FPV. It's been in many crashes and still working great. Videos on YouTube look for mikemonti968. I'm ordering another as soon as there back in stock. www.link

I've done around 15 flights with this camera and had no problems. It was well insulated from vibrations. Just upgraded to an Horyzon HD V2 with on board recording.
 BrianB192 1294 points
yes i got 1 of the Hd . did you try fly wit it ,, i found it quite different ]
 stewjw 219 points
Using the goggles, not a lot of difference due to the restricted video band width of the transmitted isignal, but the onboard HD recorded video is superb. The camera part of the Horyzon HD is light so that it can easily be mounted on a pan/tilt setup. The whole Horyzon HD setup is heavier than the 700TVL camera alone so I had to rebalance my plane with some weight on the tail but not too bad. They recently released a firmware to remove most of the icons when viewing in FPV mode. I also used the UHF shield which seems to work well since I use a EZUHF receiver that's susceptible to radio intereference.

BE WARNED!!
This camera is larger than just about every other camera HK sells. It does NOT fit in the camera mounts that HK sells, and make sure you get an extra output cable (but not the one sold with it) as the one that comes with it the plug is too large to fit onto any other camera mount. This camera is also very heavy, it has a metal casing around the entire circut boad including the back and is well over the stated 35gms.

The quality of the image is awsome, if you can deal wit the fact that you will have issues ttrying to mount it on anything other than the fixed position stand it comes with its a great FPV camera. My remote was not sent with te order so I can't tell you if playing with the settings will make any difference to the video but out of the box its spot on, just change the lense to a 2.1 to get a wider view.

The camera on spec appears to be very good, and based on other reviews I decided to purchase one. It arrived fine, but once connected, the picture is practically a white out, with an image which resembles as old photo negative. I also got the programming cable and have been able to reset to factory, but no difference, adjust the white balance etc. The only way to get any form of picture which you couldnt FPV with is to turn the brightness to Zero!!, yes Zero...which is odd, as on most products the picture would be black!. HK's famous Customer Service is stalling me. It will be sent back and who knows I might get a replacement I might not...I wouldnt normally be bothered but this is a high end product for HK. A customer of 5 years with literally hundreds of orders and I am treated like this. So much for loyalty. It was the likes of me, spreading word of mouth which built this business.

My first fpv camera, used it on rc cars. It's is a very very durable camera. Aluminum case has multiple road rash scraps and bumps. An intimidating amount of adjustability is possible via the OSD cable available separately. Couldn't get the 2.1mm Turnigy Micro Lense to work on this camera, very blurry cannot adjust the focus enough. Has a microphone however it is an internal one. That means you pretty much on hear wind noise and vibrations (such as the hum/whine from the motor). Static noise from video / signal break up is FAR louder than the microphone sensitivity. In other words be careful not to adjust for the low DB from the mic by turning up the volume. When video signal breaks up the audio static will be VERY LOUD. All that said, camera is a great buy because of: Internal Microphone 5 - 15 volt capability (i use it on 5v) Metal Case, very durable Lots of adjustable settings Low light capabilities TIP: Use a tiny amount of strong rubber type glue to secure the plug on the camera. This is a comparatively weak point on the camera unless this is done.
