Well I brought a 6v battery here in Newcastle and cut only 1 tab and resoldered it back on than used some large shink tube and made the battery in a straight line will try and upload a pic tomorrow. rgds

Hi Dazz.. I have uploaded some pics so people can see what I did for the battery, only 1 thing after changing the batteries into a straight line it would have been better to have used shrink tape instead off shrink tube.
lol yer did that with some 4600 and it last for a good days play ps hit the cone at the track and now the bodys is in a thousand little parts :( but powerslide racing got bodys for 85 bucks hope these are stronger
Well I don't understand why they advise to use this battery 6V RX battery, as that battery will not fit in the battery compartment in that car. RX Battery (6V,2000mAh NIMH) Baja 260 and 260s PRODUCT ID: RS260-63001-2.
As you need a battery that is in a straight line, I haven't had a good look on thier site to see if there is another battery you can use.
Just brought one of these have not tested it yet but it says in doc's to use Unleaded 95 or better my guess you would be better using the 98.. that's what I will be using, rgds Chris

Rodrigo, as chances de uma encomenda dessas ser taxada eh enorme. Normalmente as taxas sã*o de 60 por cento em cima do valor total da compra, incluindo o frete. A propria HobbyKing te da uma opç*ã*o no ato da compra para que vc escolha o VALOR DECLARADO, inclusive emitem uma fatura com os valores que vc escolher. Caso venha a ser taxado pela receita em um valor superior ao que vc considere justo, vc pode pedir uma revisã*o dos valores apresentando a FATURA da HK com os valores declarados. I sent home 1kg box of model parts last time i was in Perth so i didnt have to carry them on the plane, it cast 43 dollars for 1kg in a 250x250x250 box, The box for this is going to be a lot larger and also 15 times the weight. Australia doesnt have cheap international shipping.
it says 6 volts, so a 4 cell NIMH or NICD,or 2 cell LIPO. Amp hours will be depending on how long you need to go between charges, however I would imagine around 1500 mAh should fit the bill, although it would be nice if they told you the dimensional restrictions...
you can buy it from the iternational warehouse though the postage table available dose not support the weight of this package i guess you could talk with them and work something out maybe
unfortunantly the int warehouse dose not sell any cars of this catigory and they would realy be the only way to get one alot of people are having the same trouble HK just isent large enough with thair products though they are trying also this product is only avalable in AU youd need to buy one directly from someone over here thats obviously going to be hard im not realy shur how youd get one otherwise itd also be a large expense for someone to sell it to you as the price would have to include a large postage bill along with the postage spent by that person firs than the product price its realy hard

Just gave my new 1/5 scale turnigy twister it's first run gave it some throttle and to my horror the right rear tyre snapped and came off the rim i couldn't believe my eyes this is a branew car and to make my day even worse the tyres are on backorder so guess what the car that i was so eager to use is now back in it's box great so out of desperation i have tried to glue the tyre and pray that it works on the front of the car i dont think i wil be able to sleep tonite.
