Zippy Flightmax batteries deliver full capacity & discharge as well as being the best value batteries in the hobby market today!
The Zippy Flightmax 2500mAh Transmitter pack fits snuggly into any Futaba or Jr radio which takes a 4x4 AA cell battery configuration (see image).
With a capacity of 2500mAh this lipoly replacement for your old NiCD or NiMH will last four to five times longer. Probably the best advantage with a lipoly transmitter battery is that it will give a true voltage reading from start to finish which means you can say goodbye to the days where you thought your Transmitter was fully charged at home, only to find the voltage drop off rapidly when at the field.
I purchased 1 of these packs last time, didn't last long, but my other zippy packs work great and are still in good condition. But my biggest issue is that I did a order on the 4\15 and I'm still waiting on the battery on the 26th. Having a warehouse in the US doesn't help, they still send the items as slow as possible and they still overcharge. I use this in the 9x Turning TX and holds a solid charge until the lipo went dead.
Hey guys I hooked this battery in my turnigy 9x controller and it works great.
Dont know how to charge it
How can I charge it?
I have a power supply with the right plug to connect in the side of my controller
The power supply have this specs:
input 100-240v - 60/60hz 0.2A
Output: 12v 0.5A
If you try to charge this lipo battery with that power supply, you will destroy the battery and also possibly burn your transmitter and maybe even your house. You need to learn about the dangers of lipo batteries before trying to use them, especially the need to use a special charger designed for charging this type of battery.
Does this battery work well with a FUTABA 7C?
I had a 1500mha LiFe battery that came slightly puffed from HK, now after a few uses its a little more puffed, probably bc of overdischarge. My radio only warnes if voltage drops below 9V. Im going to start using only lipos on the radio and an external battery monitor.
Picked up one of these for my Turnigy 9x, fits perfectly in the battery bay. All cells balanced at 3.8v upon arrival. Holds a charge forever in my Tx. Only con is that I had to change the plug to fit the 9x.

Great Battery!!! Actual weight is 235 grams. I used this one with my quad multicopter. Outside, with temperature -5C to 15 C. No problems at all, balancer shows 2450 mAh capacity. Hopely some day batteries with this capacity will be lighter. Lighter battery - more fly time.

Great pack for a Turnigy 9x, fits perfectly in the bay with enough room to tuck the balance/charge plugs to one side.
There's no need to switch the connector either! The black connector fits on to the existing pins without requiring any modifications, just match up the orientation using the color of the wires on the 8x AA pack (so that red connects to the ve and black fits to -ve).
The battery seems to last forever too! Good bye Duracells!!!
