H-KING 20A Fixed Wing Brushless Speed Controller (AUS Warehouse)

H-KING 20A Fixed Wing Brushless Speed Controller (AUS Warehouse)

Designed for planes only, the H-KING ESC are an excellent choice for any plane requiring linear, sharp and reliable throttle response on a 20A ESC.
H-KING speed controllers have strict end-of-line QC testing and are SMT (Pick-n-Place) in the same room as the through-hole soldering(wires, capacitor) and packaging is done. Improving quality and reducing contamination and inconsistencies due to transportation.
The H-KING Speed Controller includes a 2A BEC (Battery Elminator Circuit) to power your receiver, there is no need to have a seperate receiver battery.
The H-KING range of ESC are both economic and reliable. They are pre-setup with LiPo and auto cell detection so you can just plug it in and fly!

What size "gold" connectors to the motor of the Bixler? And i take it i will need an "XT60" plug to go to the battery?
 Gary 2979 points
You will need some 3.5mm connectors and the "XT60" male connector.

Going to get a bixler... Does this ESC have come with the right plugs for a HK 6ch rx,and a turnigy 1300 3s? I dont want to order the gear then have to wait for connectors. Thanks
 Gary 2979 points
This speed controller comes with the correct plug to connect to the Rx,no other plugs are supplied so you will need some gold connectors to go to the motor and the necessary plug to fit your battery.

can the brake on the motor be programed on this esc?
 ElectricAussie 2778 points
Yes, Brake function can be turned on/off via Tx stick programming procedure. The manual is available under the Files tab above if you want to have a look at how it's done. Cheers!

Will this ESC be ok for a multicopter? It'll be a DJI WK-M Octocopter. I'm not concerned about it's specifications, just the "Designed for Planes only" comment? Thanks
 Chrisholden82 52 points
There are very limited programming options on this ESC. Great for small basic planes but would not reccomend for anything that requires to much in the way of fine tuning or very precise control. Hope this helps.

cheers. ps make sure ur only using standard gear. have fun!

I am also interested in the bicker and was wondering what you mention by "standard gear" bitty?
 CHAMBO88 89 points
means my suggestions doesnt cover any upgrades made to the bixler as many ppl tend to do. this will work on the stock set up. :)

I have ordered a 2100mah 3s 25c battery and 6x4 prop to go with the arf bixler do you think this esc will be ok for the stock motor?
 rcozstyle 315 points
The size of the battery doesnt make that much difference, but a upgrade or larger prop can increase the amps required by the motor under load, therefore the esc may need to upgraded also but your motor is only rated to so many watts and once you exceed the watts you risk damage to your motor.

Perfect ESC. Easy to program using transmitter and included instructions. Using on my EPP Piaget 3D.

Love the startup tune. But then the beep every 15s when there's no throttle input is a bit annoying. There's no heatsink, so make sure there's some airflow. I gave one of these to a mate, who fried it with a battery that had an overcharged cell. The voltage wouldn't have been much above 12.6V and the thing caught on fire! So caution! Personally I prefer the SS series when they're in stock

Sweet little esc, pitty they haven't gone to the trouble to fit xt60 , but I guess that's because most are on the JST plug at this size equipment..
