from the maiden flight this plane never flew correctly i swear it was cusred haha it was also damaged in the box all three props were broken and small amount of foam damage,it had electronic problems with esc and motor and everytime id pull anything around 1/2 elevator or above it would roll over and basically drop out of the sky, which caused me to loose it along with my sanity trying to make this thing fly properely, its a pitty really cause its such a beautiful looking plane but id never buy another dissapointed hobbyking.. :(

will a 1000mah 3 cell be to much for this bird
 Tomfiro 3 points
Hey mate, I have recently purchased this bird and I bourght 2 x 1000mah 3 cells. I am maidening her this afternoon, the reason i went for the 1000mah was thanks to a review by a user named "Tim" who said: I used a 1,000mah 3 cell turnigy for my first runs. It goes where you point it, is quick, stable & can cruise around if you wish. Seems to have a slow stall speed. My CG was per book, 32mm back from leading front edge. Battery was up against the centre foam brace in the front compartment behind

I used a 1ooo 4 cell as it fits in the fuse nice and tight..The 850 was a bit small... Make sure you set the controls as per book. If you can set low rates even lower as she can pitch hard even at 3mm elevator...Having a higher rate is good for flaring at landing..

Hells Horses! This is one fast lil plane, flew mine for around 8 minutes on a 3S 1000mah Nanotech and it was quite a mover and shaker. I dumb thumbed it into the ground massive cartwheel and the only damage was a broken prop and the motor mount came loose. Some 5 minute epoxy and new prop and we were good to go again! Check the glue on the motor mount and control surfaces apparently its pretty flakey.

What a fantastic fast little plane. I used a 1,000mah 3 cell turnigy for my first runs. It goes where you point it, is quick, stable & can cruise around if you wish. Seems to have a slow stall speed. My CG was per book, 32mm back from leading front edge.Battery was up against the centre foam brace in the front compartment behind engine. I did hand launch off a slope with about 10klm wind to give me more time if I botched take off.Even slope soared a little bit, well almost. Cant wait to use 4 cell. Gave 4 star rating because 1 servo wing would not centre properly. Replaced with a spare.Highly recommend. I am an intermediate pilot.

What a beast. Set the controls and CG as per book. Set low rates at even lower than the book as she still can pitch sharp. Cut the covering off the speedie to expose the heat sink. Flew on a 3 cell 1A for the 1st 2 flights..Then fitted the 4 cell...Can be hard to see at speed and distance..I fitted a bright red patch under the wing it now looks like a Zero from underneath..Fast! Landing can be nice and low with no low speed vices... RareBear is next.
