I do not get the startup musical sound, it only starts with the programming single, dual and triple beeps for programming the three available options (LiPo, NiXX, Brake on/off).
There seems to be no way to set the throttle range, and when I try to engage the throttle, the motor just shudders and beeps horribly, like an error sound (not quite the same beep as for the programming). Then, if I go to full throttle again, it just re-enters the programming beeping section, even though I have accepted LiPo as per the first programming choice. Starting up normally with throttle off sometimes gives the three beeps to confirm 3S LiPo, but without the musical startup sound.
I use a Turnigy 9XR FrSKy DJT Tx and D8R-II plus Rx. ESC is plugged into channel one, which is confirmed to be working, and all the servos are working fine too.
Any idea's would be appreciated!
If your motor has only 2 cables ,it's a brushed motor. This ESC is only for brushless motors and will not fit your motor so you have to buy a brushed ESC.

Hi Gabriele! If an ESC has a BEC it will usually regulate the voltage down to about 5V unless other is stated.... Please credit the answer you find the most helpful :)

there are three setups.
put throttle stick to max power and turn on the battery
first –* Lipo *peep* - *short pause* - *peep*
second –* Ni-XX *peep*peep* - *short pause* - *peep*peep*
third –* Brake *peep*peep*peep* - *short pause* - *peep*peep*peep*
when you hear the bibs by the second time, just put the throttle stick to idle on the
required setup.
repeat the steps to all the configurations.

Bought 7, 4 have failed, haven't even flown yet. PLug in the battery and poof, up in smoke. Looked at the components on the boards, they're different from one to the next. QC... i think not.

Nutze diesen für mein AXN Floater Jet und funktioniert einwandfrei mit nem 49g 2100kv Brushless.
Mehr gibts dazu nicht zu sagen, muss aber noch was dazu tippen sonst ist die Review zu short :)
