CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF A REPLACEMENT COWL IS AVAILABLE? also, if i am on the AUS website, have just added an aircraft to my cart, why is it that when i try to add options like ESC and MOTOR from the COMBINE RELATED ITEMS section, the reply i get is that i have to take the aircraft out of the cart first! this is obviously because the items i am clicking on are not in the AUS warehouse! come on HK, do you want me buy this stuff or are you going to keep stuffing me around - the local hobby shop is expensive, but at least they don't stuff me around. ps. i just deleted the aircraft from the cart.

Chris STOL stands for Short Take Off and Landing also you get V/STOL stands for Vertical and/or Short Take-Off and Landing. i know this because I saw it on J. A. G. last week. Things we remember. I hope this helps.

battery goes in through wing opening, i fitted a 1800mah 3s with a little cutting, had to put batt up against firewall for c of g.

Fanny I can up load the manual to FILES tab. It does show every thing. FILE tab above. I thing you should down load them before you buy. It helps to know what you are getting. I hope this helps.

You get what you pay for with this kit... If you have minimal modelling experience & a limited inventory of spares/reduntant bits, DONT even consider buying this kit. Things like the lack of a battery hatch so battery changes require a rather tedious unscrewing of the wing bolts & strut support screws, stupidly flimsy undercarriage legs (which I hold out little hope of surviving the 1st medium/heavy touch-down) while convesely the rudder gear wire is OVER-rated for the job it will ever do so I retro-fitted a unit from an old FMS mini L4 which works ok, not to mention the absolutely ridiculous push-rods which are marginally harder than solder wire (DONT USE THEM !), then there's the elevator connector rod which needs to be properly aligned and bent to shape in order for symetrical movement of both surfaces...the list goes on.
About the only thing I will say in its favour is its quite cute and colourful with good detail and build quality and from the Aussie W/house fast postage. Thats it. I'm yet to maiden and Oh yea before I forget the CoG is at best 45mm from leading edge NOT 55 as instruction manual suggests.

Jees guys I have bought 2 of these & the latest one is very bad quality! The hardware is almost unusable & the wing halves are different by 3mm in width. Some of the small wood bits were left out too!! I haven't flown it yet so lets hope it is a much fune as the first one!
