Delst you I know it seem silly but the package does add weight. So the 45g is the weight it will add to your plane. The 57g is the box and packing included. I hope this helps

I bought 4ea of these. They are made from -STEEL- (I expected aluminum). Every one of mine was mishaped with one side about 43mm, the other 45mm. So, one side is 2mm longer (1/16inch). Plan on adding shims! They are 1.53mm thick. I plan to cut weight reducing holes in the sides. I would not buy any of these in the future.
