Turnigy 2650mAh 3S 1C LLF Tx Pack (Futaba/JR) (DE Warehouse)
The Turnigy 2650mAh Transmitter pack fits snuggly into any Futaba or Jr radio which uses a 4x4 AA cell battery configuration (see image). It includes discharge plugs for both JR, Spektrum plus other radios. It's built with a low C-rate Long Life LiCo Formular which isn't like a standard LiPo. It retains voltage for months on end without need for a storage charge so you can store your radio and fly once a month and not have to worry about discharging or recharging your pack.
With a capacity of 2650mAh this lipoly replacement for your old NiCD or NiMH will last four to five times longer. Probably the best advantage with a lipoly transmitter battery is that it will give a true voltage reading from start to finish which means you can say goodbye to the days where you thought your Transmitter was fully charged at home, only to find the voltage drop off rapidly when at the field.

I ordered one for FUTABA FF9-in, I hope to arrive in a few days and then throw out the old battery out of it, which had been charged before each flight.
Hi Kulcsar,
I did the same over two years ago and never regretted it , I think in these two years Ive recharged the lippo maybe only once or twice... youve done the right thing PB
has a 3 cell lipo with 1c discharge I use it on my radio futaba ff9! 3 flights a week doing a full charge more or less one month! 5 stars to this battery!
if it fits to your battery tray an and your transmitter works with 12,6V it will be fine.
if you ar not sure that your TX stands 12,6V you can solder a simple diode (eg 1N4007) between battery and TX (vortage drop is ~0,7V at normal use) so just ~12V will reach your TX.
But you schould know what your are doing if fit a LiPo to your Transmitter - so be carefull that you do'nt burn it *-)...
Yes it fit in the TGY9x, but the cables have to be sorted to get it in. I cut the unused cables and now it fit perfect.
(please cut the battery cabes one by one to avoid sortcuts...)
It's a pity they dont' make 2S in order to fit Futaba T12.
Anyway I bought the 3s one year ago, and I pulled out one element.
Super battery, 6/7 hours before to recharge, still not empty.
Please make the 2S and if possible 2 mm narrrow, to fit perfectly on T12.
Using it with my Turnigy 9x Tx. Works great giving me approx. 6h of flight time.

I have just bought, few days ago, a Lipo battery for Tx (for a futaba T7CP) Turnigy 2650 mAh3S 1C LLF (futaba/Jr) Can I charge my lipo battery directly in the TX with my I Max B8 and with a specific cordon, identical to the one who served to charge my old NIMH battery directly in my TX? Thank you for your answer.
