This tough EPO Mini 182 PNP is packed with features that will appeal to both the new and experienced pilot. The powerful motor and large SF prop combo give the plenty of power when needed but also excellent slow fly capability and the pre-fitted flaps will ensure low landing speeds. Other features that make this neat scale model easy to live with include a linked steerable noseleg, which is sprung to help with less than perfect landings and a huge magnetic battery hatch.
The Model requires no glue to finish, simply bolt on the tail and main wing, connect the flaps, ailerons and wing nav lights (the nose-lights are pre-installed) and you are ready to go! Simply connect to a 6 channel reciever and install your choice of Lipoly battery.
In addition to all the scale detail, Oleo front landing gear, landing & nav lights and flaps, you can also install the optional float set for yet another dimension to your flying!
I am having problems with the nose gear twisting on landing and throwing the plane over on the runway. How can I lock it into place. Can I remove that spring in the gear
I got this plane in last week. I am still a novice flyer, but I bought the 2s in zippy etc. The plane is really nose heavy. Do I have the wrong batteries?
Also, is the an instruction manual I can download? I really need to see some instruction on this plane. I built it, but want to make sure I have it correct.

Yes ofcouse, but you will have to be very easy on your sticks. Id move all my control horns to the shortest throw for the aleirons, rudder and elevator. Remember NO SUDDEN OR FAST STICK MOVEMENTS. just take it easy and happy flying!
You can' t put retracts on any high wing plane unless you have super long retracts and also it will b heavier for plane in size wise... Best is no retracts...
I'm using PRODUCT ID: Z13003S20C. fitting very tide. ESC locating with battery in the same department. The battery department on the plane is 71mm * 43mm * 29mm.
That's a big question... ARF = Almost Ready to Fly* meaning, it has ALMOST everything you will need. Often you will need to provide electronics like servos, motor/ESC, battery and a radio. PNP = Plug 'N Play* you only need to provide a radio and battery. RTF = Ready To Fly* Comes with everything you will need to fly like radio, motor/esc, battery, servos. If you are new to the hobby I highly suggest buying an RTF like the "Sky Easy Glider 2.4G 4Ch 1050mm RTF". It is a glider, so it's slow, and it's RTF (ready to fly). My first aircraft was a glider. Stay away from the ARF until you are more advanced and understand how to pick the electronics. PNP, is a good next step after you get your first "real" radio. For now, an RTF raido is plenty. Keep in mind, you still will need to spend the time to build any model you buy. Go slowly, read the instructions. Good Luck!
I just received this plane and a set of floats. The floats come with a water rudder. The manual shows the water rudder connecting to a shaft that sticks out of the bottom of the plane. The manufacturers site (e-do) also shows this shaft in their pictures. This shaft is connected to the rudder of the plane. My plane does not have this shaft. Am I missing something? The float set came with a chrome shaft that looks like it was supposed to be made into the planes rudder. Does anyone else have one with the shaft?
i have the hobby king 6ch tx/rx. it just has the base 6 channels. is there a way to set it up to work with this plane to operate the flaps and lights and all that? maybe using the programming software? (i have the usb cable) any response would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
How are the lights operated? Is there a built in electronic switch that is operated through a servo port? Nice looking plane! (I originally posted this in the wrong spot)
Also, I wish they had posted a link to the appropriate battery for this model. Would this battery be suitable: www.link . It fits the only specs i see listed, just not sure if the are any dimension issues for size.

Just received this one today. It came nicely boxed with no damage. It went together in about 30 minutes. I see no problems with assembly, however the instructions (not that you need any) came with the floats that I ordered at extra cost and not with the airplane. Go figure.
Anyway, the only stopper I've come across to this point is the battery connector on the esc. It should be a male to mate with the female on the battery but guess what.........it's another female. We all know two females in this type of situation don't get along too well~)
Since I'm going to change it to a "T" connector this doesn't affect my assembly at all.
I"ll let you know how it flys without the floats if the wind ever settles down.

I just opened the box to assemble this plane to find that the battery cover is missing, and this battery cover covers the whole bottom of the plane, I am so disappointed, I know how impossible it is to get service from HK, all I can say if they do not assist me on this matter I will dispute this charge with my C/C. Not worth $30.00 much less $80.00, very cheaply made all cheap foam...

just got this today-what a mess-the servo's where incorrectly installed,wheel struts would not bolt on.missing bits of hardware. anyways,i fixed the incorrect servo rods,one rod way too long-fixed. I rivet the wheel struts on. run hand held test with prop on-wing strut flies off-fixed.the ESC battery connector is female-fixed. afraid to test fly but i will soon. will report back when i crash it...................

So far, no issues. Most of the assembly was completed. Some items are up to you. Engrish instructions - easy to follow anyway. The tail feathers go on quickly. It says 2 bolts for the tail, but I could only manage 1. The other doesn't seem to have a receptive hole. Not really an issue as the vertical locks the horizontal in place and the one bolt holds it all together fine.
Had some trouble putting on the wheel pants. I think that took the most time of anything. The flaps needed to be re-adjusted as they were not setup evenly. The spinner is kinda a joke.
I'm currently waiting for my battery and receiver to arrive, so no flight test yet. Hopefully I can update with more on the flying once I get the battery and RX.

Plane sucks. ESC and wing servos were DOA. Wing servos most likely failed due to the screwed up linage system used. No way to totally get rid of binding on wing. Should have separate servos for a total of 4 on wing.
Wheel pants mount to landing gear leg, but wood on pants is drilled in wrong locations to match holes in leg. Holes in wood are also too large for screws provided. Pay attention when unpacking as there is a spring for the front landing gear.
Lack of spare parts such as propeller and fuselage make this a throw away plane. Overall, 1 crown is generous.
