No fan of this kind is waterproof. The extra connector is for the opposite side if you don't have it all ready.

No, this fan is not water-proof. But if you spray some WD-40 on it after each run when it gets wet, it should last a long time. (likes are welcome)

Yes, this Heatsink will fit any 36mm diameter motor, and it fits quite well in a traxxas slash 4x4.

I have made it fit my stampede 2wd, but you have to slightly trim the inside of the motor housing on the gearbox. (likes are welcome)

i want only the fan if i change this to a 36mm heatsink will the fan be producing to less air or just enough because it says 1 10 scale and they might make the fan weaker because of the scale.

The Fan produces a good amount of air to the motor ! , mine njever got hot and ive had it for 6 months and not had a day's problem

u can easily plug it in into a spare chanel on your reciever , and it will draw power from there , or what you could do , is buy a sepearte battery compartment with 4-6 AA batteries and run it off there , or you can buy a li-Po 7.4v 800mah and run it from that , thats what i did and my motor neve overheated , Works really well :). hope this helped

Thought this would be just the thing to keep my motor cool, but fan stopped working after just a few minutes. very disappointing. Running off Fan connector on ESC. Assumed voltage would be ok. No markings on the fan to indicate Voltage rating.
