With this work on a 1200mm boat
 The_Sandman 60 points
Should do but depends on the weight of the boat and the size of the motor mount

Will this work with a 2s lipo 60a esc in a touring car?

Anyone know what turn this motor is?

I'm trying to find a motor that will turn a 9x6 prop
17k to 18k on 4 to 5s lipo for a Q-500 pylon racer

How fast ( RPM) would this motor turn a 9x6 prop on 14.8 volts and how much amperage would it draw?

Can I use it on I slash 4x4 with a Velioneo ESC (VXL-3s)? I live in Brazil and its always hot, do I need a cooler or heatsink, or it runs cool?

I might be good for fun jet wit 4-5 S, but its quite heavy and not very good for plane.. As Victorvs said it's better for cars. :)

It also works for 90mm fans for EDF's with a heat sink, 1500kv is a bit high for most planes without a gearbox for a motor of this size.

can this take 6s?
 Ponyboy 4 points
probably not, although the voltage depends more on the speed controller, I think.
 pdiddy 667 points
Voltage is less important than watts which measures heat, so if you can stay within the recommended watts of this motor on 6s you should be fine.

Yes it runs my CS 12 blade fan on 6S at 83A stabilized (90 initially). This is one strong motor! The only modification I would recommend is use the 36mm style cooling fins to keep temperatures in check.

 thulu 16 points
distance between center of the shaft and center of mounting screw holes is 1,2 -1,3cm (standard 540 size I believe)

If not this motor, then what? Is there a motor capable of this kind of performance? This is whats needed for Q-500 racing. Does that mean that there is nothing being made by you that can do the job?

Running this motor in a 2,3m glider of 1,5kg on 2S with a 14x10 folding prop more than enough power for many quick climbouts.

Great motor for the new Changesun 90mm 12 blade fan! The case needs some sanding to fit the 39mm shroud which was done in minutes on my belt sander. On 6S this motor draws 83A/1900watts stabilized. I added HK cooling fins (made for 36mm motors but fit this as well) and the motor temps were very reasonable at about 150F max after extended running at WOT. I did notice the large allen screws holding the end cap did not have any locktite so some was added to each screw. The small screws on the other end were secured properly and no locktite was needed.

i got this motor yesterday in the mail ..""""" packaging is not flash """"" ignore that """,,, hooked it up to the 120 HK ESC i also got .... used the HK 150 car program card to adjust a few settings then out for a test in my Himoto buggy on 4s 5000... let me say this is the best set up i have ever had in this buggy" ITS FAST " .... although its 1500 kv it still gets a bit hot when bashed for 10 mins with motor timing on high .. so i put that back at the default setting ....... 5 crowns all round .. thanks HK
