Hi would this servo be good to use for a throttle servo on a 60 size plane. Thanks
 Gary 3001 points
It would be ok but a bit of an overkill for a throttle,a good 3/4kg servo would be more than enough.
 John 4 points
Thanks for the reply can you recommend any.
 Gary 3001 points
Either the HK15138 or TGY S4505B would be ok.

hi, i was wondering what voltage/amp or battery in need to run 4 of these servos off a Hobby King 2.4Ghz 6Ch Tx & Rx V2 (Mode 1)ps need a lot of power from the servos
 Josh 13 points
if its connected to a rx the voltage is always the same, the battery input just depends on how long you want it to run,
id suggest a 7.2v battery around 5000mAh
you can go higher if you want,
 FlyRcFly 1744 points
These little servos are great and for the price who cares if you break one or two. They are rated 4.8v~6v. So I think they are great for 4 or Hobby Kings new 1.6 rechargeable. Why would you need 4 x 9 KG servos? So the size of battery really depends on what you are doing. What PLANE, Crawler or Car they go in.

So this is $6.06 does it have metal gear or not?? I cannot imagine for the price that it could.
 Kellyann 16228 points
Allison yes that is true it has metal gears. It seem not possible that you could buy a metal gear servo for only $6.06. This is why it is on back order. The listing does say Features: Metal Gears Dual Ball-race. I hope this helps.

for the price and the wait they are good servos if ur not going to go over the top and bash the life out of them but they are very strong
 Otomar 15 points
Hi, servo have metal gear..but not all.. first gear is made from plastick.
 Rdemptioner 378 points
still camming away I see kellyann. newtohobbyking/kellyann/Alison/sally/mainsail are all the same people scamming the posts, do not give them a credit

Would it fit hk600??
 Brett 232 points
yes, but you should go digital for a Heli. You want precise movement. Analogue (especially cheap ones) are not accurate or fast enough, even for cyclic. Tail - don't even think about it.
 Docspace 158 points
Hi ya Brett what would you recommend for cyclic an tail servo's for a HK500TT FBL Heli ,as im just stepping up from the 450 series .cheers
 Brett 232 points
Try the HK15298 High Voltage Coreless Digital Servo. It will operate on normal voltage (5V) & up to 7.4V if you wish. Much faster than the HK15288A and worth the extra price. You could use it all round as well if on a budget, but best to find a high-end servo for the tail (sub .10sec), but no high end servos stocked in AUS warehouse though.
 Docspace 158 points
Ha Brett thanks for the quick reply, that sounds like what I'm looking for,ill give that a crack an I will use my 520Align Tail servo off the 450,to keep the costs down cheers

 Kellyann 16228 points

These are great servos, but there is a small risk they can short inside. To ensure they dont just drop the bottom off of the case and add a small foam insert between the control pot and the circuit board . Easy fix :)
