I have the version 1 and program card. Does this new version 2 use the same programming card?
 smiley 19 points
It has different software to the version 1 esc. Needs a different program card, but works much better. Goes hard in a slash running the Traxxas velenion motor

Could you use this in the 1/16 SCT
 seehuusen 21 points
it's a bit overkill, but it would work :)

hi guys. i have this esc and a 13.5turn motor. it starts up very rough (stuttering) until it gets a bit of speed then goes good. my motor runs perfect with a 25amp esc. is this esc no good for a 13.5turn motor? thanks
 Michael 3 points
Which 13.5t motor are you using. A 60amp speed control should have no problems with a standard 13.5T 540 size brushless motor unless the programing is incorrect. You may need the Turnigy Trackstar 60A ESC Programing card to set the ESC up with the appropriate settings. If you have changed the gearing however to a very tall gear setup, you may need to gear it back to an appropriate level. Please provide further information.

The motor is a bullistorm thing I got off eBay. The gearing is standard. I think I may need the program caRd because my hk25amp esc runs it no worries.

Hi Troy, I would be pretty confident in saying that its a programing issue and that you will need the programing card to rectifying the problem.

Went hard while it was going but the tiniest bit of water caused it to fry itself and a Ni-Mh battery pack i had hooked up to it in my brush-less buggy

I bought 3 of these, one was faulty from new; no low/middle power and no reverse (still useful as BEC when setting up electronics). The other 2 went well, although the reverse delay is quirky. One experienced moisture from a muddy track and died. The third is still doing strong in my Traxxas Bandit. It has since been filled with epoxy to make it waterproof. I'll repost when/if it dies.

My particular combination with Speed passion RTR motor cogged badly then the magnets dislodged from the motor. Bought two of these units but have since sold them.
