i looked at the archives and there was a older version of this model and its flying wieght was 1200-1400 grams which puts it in the glow 25 range i want one iv done the math and with the sugested setup it will be under 1200g so the wing loading should be vary low www.link
sloperdude um i dont understand the motors they recommend are in the 450-480 range as well as the lipos they list could never supply enough amp for motor much bigger then a 480 so ru saying hobbyking is wrong i should get a g40 and some 3000ma 4 cells or some thing like that
No, I didn't take the plane's low weight into account. Though I think the recommended motors are a little bigger than a 480, I could be wrong. The NTM motors are very powerful, well made, and downright cheap. I'd go with them.

Well I have to eat my own word about slow shipping. The model was at the post office and they did not notify me. The plane came double boxed and it is in perfect condition, well built and well constructed. The instructions could be more complete. I have built many models that are more complex than this so the lack of complete instruction is not an issue for me but to a beginner it could be cause for concern. I still would not let that stop me even as a beginner. I would recommend this plane to anyone that like a nice trainer or slow flyer. So I’m giving this plane five stars if I could rate it higher I would.
Plane arrived outer box slight damage,inner box ok, problem is ordered batteries and they were placed in box with plane. Fuselage crushed,vert and horr stabs broke. If HK won't replace not worth trouble,could have purchased one local for what going to have to spend. Plane looks nice,a little flimsy . Better build or more care in packing batts may have made this an enjoyable experience .hope hk replaces, if they do 5plusstars if not pcnt#}^* them. Do 99pcnt shopping on line only ever had one prob was postal svc fault , have not used in years. This package left on doorstep same as last time,if it gets stole post office says tuff luck we delivered call cops,package should be sent signature required. Have order over seas,let's hope it go,s better. I will ad to this and all items HK,s response to problem.

Received this plane on 2/28/12 very fast shipping and no damage, the only issues with the plane is the description doesn't match the product I received. The wings don't have the black and white stripes. Mine also came defective the ailerons are deformed and won't fit properly on the wing(hope issue gets taken care of) the manual is very poor in information you will have to figure most stuff out,Price is ok, materials ok over all if you are lucky and get one that is not deformed is a good buy.
