NTM Prop Drive motors are rock-solid performance outrunners with tight windings, quality bearings, correctly rated magnets, balanced stator and flux rings plus they are QC checked at 14 points, from material processing all the way through to final dyno test.
Because we design and build these motors completely in-house (from 3D/2D drawing to materials sourcing, machining, balancing, final assembly and dyno) we can completely control production and ensure product consistency from design right through to shipping the product to you. The removal of middle-men has meant we can drive better value to the market and retail these motors at factory(our) prices! All performance figures are real and tested on our own motor dynos. Our QC engineers check and balance each motor before shipping to the HobbyKing.com warehouse.
Thanks againg jzzto. Finally I will take a ZIPPY Flightmax 2800mAh 4S1P 30C. according to your previous calculations I thing that's enough. I have just another two questions...Firts, what's the meaning of "if you have room". I'm not english and I can't found a good translation. Second, can you tell me what is the adequate prop model, please? I have a lot of doubts because there are a lot of models and not much information. What do you think about three blade propellers? Is a good choice? Thank you very much for your attention
Hi, sorry for not responding sooner.
"if you have room" means if there is enough space to put the battery in.
Three blade propellers are more ineficient than two blade props, but if you have little space, a three blade prop will work similar to a 2 blade prop one inch bigger (on props up to 13inches).
The other thing is the prop model... that is very subjective to the user... i like glow props even in electrics because they are stiffer and do not vibrate that much, so you have more reliable trust.
Master Airscrew has electric only versions which are nice, also, i've used Scimitar Master Airscrew, Master Airscrew standard, turnigy wood props and JXF as well. JXF are inmortals, i've crashed one from 5m high to a rock and survived, it had a few scratches but with a little balance work is a good "emergency prop". Master Airscrew are lighter but some times break with little effort
you are welcome
if you have room, you can go up to a 9x4 and will probably have a power consumption of about 20A or similar and much more torque which will help reducing rpm to lift the same weight.
this motor can handle a lot of punishment without any problem, just maje sure they have good cooling.
gws propellers can vibrate a little, if you can get a stronger prop will get less vibration and remember if you are using a quad, you need props with clockwise rotation and contrary clockwise rotation as well to balance torques
I'm new at assembling quadcopters and i has a question:
could i use this motor with GWS EP Propeller (DD-8040)? As I readed yes, but i'm not sure.
My settings are:
Hobbyking Quadcopter Frame 680mm
NTM Prop Drive Series 28-26A 1200kv
TURNIGY Plush 25amp Speed Controller
NTM Prop Drive 28 Series Accessory Pack
ZIPPY Flightmax 2650mAh 4S1P 20C
Hobby King Quadcopter Power Distribution Board
Multiwii and Megapirate AIO Flight Controller w/FTDI
Thanks you very much
you will probably have too much consumption for the battery... each motor will consume about 15 to 20A and you have 4 of them, which makes 60A total and your battery will be able to provide only 53 at full rate...
(2.65Ah x 20C = 53A)
this is theorical, because if the quad is very light, it will take off with less power consumption... but i would go for a higher C rate battery
I have received 4 motors and I have order 4 more.
WIth a small prop you can use 4cells for extra speed.
My multiWIIcopter has less torque but the fly speed is awesome.
In 3 sec alt. 40Meters.
Now I want try Octa for more torque with the same speed.
I can't wait to rebuild the Wiicopter with more then 6kg lift.
8x3.5 Prop 4s Full throttle 245watt Torque 975 grams
Motor is wellmade and spins very stable.
The shaft is very hard.
Good purchase for prototypes models for test flight.
Buy 4 of this motor for the price of one vendor expansive motors.
Excelente motor, uso em um tucano de isopor de 60cm,uso bateria de 1300 mah, tendo peso máximo 500 grs. Este empurra até 800 a 900 grs.

Very good motor !!
Bought one for a zaggy 1400mm wingspan. Has overpower, run smooth, silent, very small and economic.
As soon they stock it up, i´ll buy 2 more just to spare them.
Awesome motor !
Ps. Just don´t forget to buy the propeler adapter. Comes nothing but the motor in a plastic bag. Not even the screws.
Still a good choice.
