I am looking at a 2200 mah 3 cell 1p 30c battery. My question is what does the 1p mean?
 H-KING_SCOTT 5160 points
Parallel, it's a reference to the configuration of the internal connection of the pack of individual cells.
 hobbyjunky 2 points
1 p means 1 pack 1 battery with however manny cells it calls for

if you run 2 batteries on 1 plane and they are both 3 cells you have a 3s 2p
 kevin bagwell 68 points
Yes, hobby****y is correct, 1p= 1 pack/ 3s1p= 3 cell, 1 pack, 3s2p = 3cell, 2 pack and so on, if you look at 1p and 2p batteries you will notice 1p is a single pack and 2p is two packs in parallel,
 kev.keene 143 points
Hm, I would have to agree with Scott. P is for parallel. If you run 2 batts on a plane, and they are both 3 cells, you only have a 3s 2p if wired in parallel, if wired in series, you have 6s 1p.

I have been using the Zippy batteries for over a year. I have 14 of them between 20 and 30C. I lost track of how many charges I have on each one.The only problems I had with them I caused myself. I get 7 minutes of sport flying on 2 different 450 size helicopters and have at least 40 of the battery left. They last longer than more expensive batteries.I will get more.

After 20 cycles they still charge to 100pcnt capacity, and balance perfectly. Much better then my 35c Nanos that could easily be mistaken for marshmellows not to mention cell voltages all over the graph.

I use these in my MaxJet F-117a Nighthawk with Exceed 4900kv motor and it has plenty of power for this setup. Battery is small for it's capacity and fits in battery bay just right on the Nighthawk. I also use them in my PZ T-28. At this price, get two...when they have 'em!
