A fun and easy to fly paraglider. The motorized paraglider hovers like a helicopter in a gentle breeze and can perform basic stunts.
The kit assembles is 10 minutes and includes a simple radio. Don't expect fantastic performance from this model, rather, hours of stress free hovering and floating around your local park or hillside.
Saludos.
Suerte.
Hi Matthew, have you tried resoldering your bullet connectors? The other possibility is that you're overloading your speed controller, sometimes the mounting screws are too tight warping the rear motor mounting caseing causing the rear bearring to bind, the motor should turn freely.
Where can i get a brushless motor for this? I have one from years ago and i set it up to use a hyperion 2850 kv motor geared and worked great, but now it glitches like crazy and everything has been replaced but a motor and I CANNOT find a motor (inrunner or outrunner) to fit in the limited space! Does no one make a ~3000 kv 24mm dia, 2mm shaft with a weight of 50 grams, capable of 10 amps anymore??
Otherwise, why does this thing glitch so much? I cant imagine why the motor went bad or if it is, but what else could it be?
Prop has no markings but it is very close to a 9070 Reverse Pitch SlowFly prop which makes sense as it has a brushed gear drive system. Check out the multirotor section for the reverse pitch propellers.
I have bought the HK 30A brushed ESC, can I straight soldering the motor to the brushed ESC and connect to my my RX? If I use my own RX I only connect the servo to elev then I can control left n right.
The unit has a all in one RX-ESC unit with a proprietary 2.5 Ghz radio system. Using your own Radio Tx/RX/ESC will work but why stop there, why not convert to full brushless which will last longer and provide more power and flight time.
yes, because there says ARF but the descritipons says:
Required:
8 x AA batteries (for the Transmitter)
800~1000mah 7.4v 2S Lipoly
like all is included what do you think

Caso contrario deberé* cambiar motor, ESC y radio.

Gracias.
You put a esc for brushed motors, but you also have to put the receiver rx, because the original receptor already have the built-esc. It may be a esc 30A. Have here in the hobbyking store. The ideal is to put brushless kit complete with 2s battery
get a reciever from a complete radio system (not the stock one), this new radio must have "elevons" or delta wing programming capabilities just plug one servo to aileron, the another to elevator (with the mix already programmed in radio) and esc to the throttle channel, of course the other leads from esc go to motor, set it up as for movement (in case you need to reverse) and you are done.
sidd ... why use elevon or delta mixing? This only uses the yaw servo to turn and throttle to go up and down. What other servo would you connect on the other channel to and why mix rudder to aileron or aileron to elevator for that matter? Three channels will be perfect and two channels will work.
Olá* Cleyton, Infelizmente a Hobbyking nã*o vende peç*as separadas deste modelo.
do you have the p-glider-arf in the usa the shipping from china is verry expensive im ready to buy this unless i can get a shipping discount they quoted around $30 if i can pay around $15 i can purchase this
for this case since the motor seems to be brushed a 3s would burn esc and motor, so stay with 2s. If it was brushless it would fly with 3s with proper throttle management.
I bought two and one of them did not work. The radio controls do not respond, neither the acceleration nor the direction command. Anyone have any solution?
Daniel,

Got this para-glider to take off from the ground. Surprisingly tough given the rough landings. The wheels pop out but are easy to put back on for the next flight.

Just got it yesterday. Over all it looks nice but it feels all too fragile. Maybe it will fly ok and I'll not break it on first landing. One complaint I have is that kit is missing servo horn. Can't fly it before I figure out what to install instead. Other then that good value for money I guess.
Yes! Beside heli and plane, you will need this one during the summer~ Easy to fly and easy to control. To order one for you and your kid right now~

Endless fun, with 1000mah battery I get 13-15 minutes of flying. This paraglider can take a beating! I have managed to do a loop one time, I have tangled it up at twice the height of the football stadium light posts and slammed it into the ground with only a broken prop, hit barbed wire, poles, fences, people (me! Stitches in my hand :( ). One thing you need to know is the prop will push into the motor housing and the gear drive will be chewed out if not careful a simple homemade spacer will suffice I can upload images if anyone needs. Best fun i've had. Also this can carry heaps of weight e.g. camera, soon I will try FPV.
PS I have bought 3 (2 for spares encase they stop manufacture)
