The number one in performance, value and price!
The new Turnigy® Lipoly packs deliver 100% capacity and a true 20C.
You wont find a better deal in Lithium Polymer batteries anywhere!

Why are our batteries so cheap, yet deliver the full capacity and discharge rate?
The answer is simple; we make them ourselves! Yes, Hextronik Limited* now mixes the slurry, bakes the foil, stacks the layers, injects the electrolite and packs the packs. All in it's very own humidity controlled factory in Guangdong (China).
When buying a TURNIGY® 2200mAh 20C you are buying a pack direct from the manufacturer. Thats why our price is so low!

Minimum Capacity: 2200mAh (True 100% Capacity)

Stick with TURNIGY®, your trusted Lipoly partner!

I want to buy in bulk. How do I purchase more than 2?
 Dakoda 1 points
I think you have to do more then one order, I want to buy three but I cant.
 Noobwagon 2 points
You have to register a "wholesale account", if you scroll to the very bottom of the page you will find a link under the "company info" section entitled "wholesale". You have to fill out an application and once approved you will be able to purchase in bulk at discounted rates. Hope this helps.

THATS for drop shipping which is a pain in the ass. Just make 3 orders you will have to pay shipping on all orders.

If i want to mount two of these to my quad, should I wire them is series, or parrallel?
 Whyyy 56 points
Parallel. Your voltage will stay the same at 11.1v, but current is doubled (e.g. 88a instead of 44a, which is good). If you wired in series, your voltage would double to 22.2 (that's 6s, and probably not what you want).

Whats a good charger for this battery, that will help ensure a long like and full, balanced charging?
 OscarTgrouch 6 points
I use the Turnigy accucel-6 and have really enjoyed it. Very simple to use. You do have to get a power supply to go with it. Here are the links to the charger and power

Just search for Turnigy Accucel-6 50W 6A Balancer/Charger PRODUCT ID: ACC6

The cheap and simple Turnigy 2s/3s chargers work great when starting out. You just plug them in, wait for the light to change, no settings, no beeping. They all pretty much do the same thing. The 4 button chargers (e.g. accucel 6, imax b6) might actually be a danger for an inexperienced hobbyist as they allow a person to change the charge rate and possibly exceed the battery's limits (leading to shortened batt life). The simple 2s/3s chargers have one charge rate (800mA), which is usually a trickle, which definitely extends battery life.

Turnigy E3 looks good and the price is really competitive. However I am not sure you will be allowed to balance charge your batteries and a 2200mAh battery will take a lot of time (about 2 hours). I would consider getting one of those just for occasional use in the field for low capacity batteries. 4 button chargers are really easy to use. You can learn in 2 or 3 hours and there are lots of videos on youtube you can learn from. Regards!

Hi, I have three of this model or very close to it and yesterday I think I over ran it which made it swell up. I suggest that it means it is no longer save to use? It did shrink back down but not sure if I should just get rid of it... It was only used 12 times which the other 2 I have has about 45-55 recharge cycles and they still work fine.. Is this what happens if it is run down to far...? Thanks
 Justin 9 points
Dave, so it is still safe to use if the cells of the battery are balanced. You said it shrunk back down so that is good. This happens to me a lot with my batteries and I still use the batteries hope this helped!
 Dave 34 points
Thanks justin, I decided to go the safe route and took it out of service. Have looked at some YouTube videos and you might want to as well. Hey a little cost it not worth the cost it could be. But hey, as answer is nice to know By the way the voltage went to 8. 4 and that is low. Thanks again

As an alternative, you might want to hang on to it, or maybe repurpose it....(e.g. power an electric fly swatter, portable soldering iron for field kit, an fpv ground station, etc.). Look for low intensity/frequency jobs for it to do, it still has the potential to do work! :D

bigguy Dave I have batteries that have puffed. And I date my batteries with a magic marker when I buy them I have batts from 2010 that are still going strong. I charge them in lipo safe bags with no problems. They are all Turnegy .Hope this helps

These batteries work well with the Phantom 1 series. The extra long XT-60 cable requires a little more jamming into the compartment but it's well worth it. These batteries last about a minute longer than the DJI ones and cost way less! I'm sorry I bought any DJI batteries at all. Also, after several months, the internal resistance of these batteries are lower than the DJI ones.
 Whyyy 56 points
Aren't DJI batteries SUPER expensive? I had the same experience, but with walkera. Their batteries actually had nothing wrong with them, but were just expensive. AMAZED when I discovered Turnigy and zippy batteries :D

11 thumbs up!
I have 4 of these packs now. I ordered two almost a year ago, and have used them in helicopters and airplanes both. They deliver consistently and predictably, and even after a year they are on par with the two I just purchased - some slight puffing on the older packs is all. Great battery!

1 thumbs up!
Took two days to get here with Priority Shipping (to Louisiana)! Nice! Mine were also shipped with XT60 connectors. I swapped them to Deans, since that's what's on everything else I have already. They were both balanced well, one at 3.86V/cell, the other at 3.87V/cell. I charged one, than discharged it, then balanced it. It's gave a bit more than 2200mAh on the first cycle, I expect them to be some good packs, especially once they get a few cycles on them and "break in". As long as what I need is in stock, Hobbyking's USA warehouse will be my go-to place for LiPos! I wish you'd stock small items too. I could have grabbed some HXT900 servos, servo extensions, battery connectors, etc. with this order, but I had to go elsewhere for them. Shipping is either too expensive, or too slow for small items that I need fast when it's coming from China.

Just got 5 of these. Compact size only slightly bigger than 1600 3s.

I have purchased two of these packs from the USA warehouse and they arrived very quickly. XT60 connectors by default, but I use Deans so I changed them out and kept the XT60 connectors for when I eventually make the change over. Both packs took a full charge and exhibit good characteristics.

I use them in my Trex 450 for sport flying, in the Durafly Cessna 182 and my home built SPAD. Great packs for the price.
