i have a stupid question. I have four 6S batteries to power for motor individually (too heavy). Is that OK to hook up two batteries in parallel and power the four motors? I try to reduce weight. Please advise.
I am using a 600 watt motor with a 50 A brushless electronic speed controller.
Should I consider the 'C' rating of a battery while considering it for my plane and if yes, then how?
'C' rating is nothing but how fast a battery can be discharged safely.A battery with a discharge rating of 20C would mean you could discharge it at a rate 20 times more than the capacity of the pack.for normal flying 20-25C is best rating as 'C' rating increases the cost of battery increases.higher 'c' rating batteries are used where you require more power.eg:- doing 3d maneuvers require high C rating.i suggest 20-25c rating for above config.
I have the 30-40c discharge for my T-500. They measure 135 x 42.3 x 41.6
They'll fit with use of a Fusino canopy or with the simple battery tray mod.
Battery tray mod is as simple as drilling new holes about 3-4mm below the old ones to drop the tray down

I bought three of em and want to buy more. The best battery for your money! I run the Trex 500 ESP with them and get consistant 8 minute flights in scale flight, nothing fancier than barrel rolls and loops. Highly recommended
Exactly what I use. They're the obvious best bang for you buck. I can buy 3 of these vs just 1 of any other brand.

I bought 2 of these for my T-Rex 500 and I just want to say these are awsome packs. You could go for a small pack with higher C rating or buy these with a bigger mah rating for a longer flight time with great performance from the packs. I get round 8-9:30 min of sport flying and the batteries don't get that warm. I'm a newbie but these packs are great!!!!

Bought three of these from the USA warehouse and after 6 cycles they are right on balance and are performimng well in my application. Using them in an Ultra Stik 60 electric conversion with a Scorpion S4025-12. Great combination with unlimited vertical and ten minute flight times with variable throttle.

Cant beat these batteries for the price! They're installed in a converted .46 sized Ultimate BiPlane with a 400kv motor swinging an APCe 13x6.5 prop. 855watts @ 36amps! I definately have lots of room for more power!!
Works great. Gets pretty warm on my HK500GT though. Not sure about the 600 yet though with two of these. I'm sure they will do fine with just sport flying. But if you want to do anything more, then look for a better C rating.
