Hello. I have a crashed E-flite Blade sr (250 size i believe) Would the motor/esc plus servo's/reviever fit this heli? Could i just swap it all over from the BSR to the HK450? (I understand that i'll need to change the pinion from a 9T to a 12/13T.) Will it all fit and work??
Paul how much barer could you get. This is just the farm! I has no Brushless Outrunner Motor, Servos, Gyro, Receiver and ESC Lipoly Battery (2200mAh 3S) and the price is great.
I am currently learning to fly a Blade SR120 indoors befoer I move on to my Frenzy 600 for outdoor flying. Would the HK450 be a suitable indoor/outdoor heli? I have a Hitec Aurora 9 Tx and a Spectrum 4 Tx, which is the more suitable Tx for the HK450, what servo's etc would I need to complete the build? Cheers, Kevin
Indoor ? If you have a large garage perhaps?
Aurora 9x for the heli .
Servos - ? 9g size [ Micro - Mini ] TG9e / HK15178 are good for the price ..
Plenty of motors to chose from :
Motor Typhoon 450 / Turnigy 2822
40A ESC minimum
Gyros get tricky - *bay has some cheap ones that work with analog servos
Chose - digital or analog and go accordingly .
Analog with a decent tail servo and gyro may save you money till you stop crashing ..
nã*o, está* a venda apenas a "fuselagem" do helicoptero, será* necessá*rio a aquisiç*ã*o do sistema de rá*dio tx/rx, motor, servos, gyro, bateria, esc.

WTF? There is about 3 spare parts for this heli...
This must be so that you just buy another kit instead of the parts...
its all good... I ordered the spares is needed this morning... they've already left the shop...
Oh did I mention I bought spares for my Eflite Blade 400 from ModelFlight... not bits for the HK450...
I have just purchased this HK450 CCPM 3D Helicopter Kit Align T-rex Compat. Ver. 2 and am trying to find the best servo's, esc, motor for it,, the link under the picture showing parts doesnt work, could someone point me in the right direction of the electronics needed ?
So much for the great Align copy. It now comes with plastic head and tail fittings. Tail booms which won't fit and hex nuts designed to round off at the sign of a hex driver. No manual supplied.
I'll answer my own question. The fault isn't with the hex bolts. It's the lousy hex drivers. I was going through a new driver about every 6 bolts and grinding them down to get the hex shape back. Then I discovered it wasn't the bolts fault it was the driver so I bought a better quality driver and I've never had a problem since. As for the plasic parts. for the price it should have been bamboo. No I won't click on it :-)
Your right. Its not an Align T-Rex 450 but its blood close for the money and if you are not a Pro at flying 3D this is the heli to learn on. Its likely you will crash it before you turn pro anyway and once your hovering upside down 2 inches from the deck then upgrade to the alloy CNC parts.
what are some good electronics to make this copter complete to fly? i cant seem to find any rtf copters :(

Been flying RC for over 20yrs. Currently been testing & flown this heli for over 500 minutes of flying time. Excellent Heli for the price. Great to learn on with some training grear for beginne. Parts are cheap, easy to install. Had a 3D crash with this heli cost for full rebuild $22.00 (US) Upgrade to anodised parts, Gyro, and all blades you will love this helicopter. Also locktight every screw & bolt. Excellent Heli to learn on for beginners.!!

Bought this heli from HK warehouse. Is a great little heli, and flies great.
I have 3 HXT servos on cyclic, digital servo on tail, and a HK gyro.
I would not recommend the training gear, as my biggest crash was using having the heli blades strike the training gear causing damage.
Would recommend, and i am about to get the updated 450pro version.

This is a great little heli to learn on. I used: turnigy typhoon 2218 heli motor, 55 dlux esc, hk922mg on cyclic and rudder and assan GA250 mini mems gyro. Hovers great! Still learning, only had two flights. Built for under $200. Thanks HobbyKing!!
