Does the receiver in this combo send out CPPM signals to my flight controler?
 v_max 4835 points
No. v8fr-ii do not provide cppm. If you need CPPM best choice is d4r-ii receiver. but requires firmware reflash to use all 8ch cppm.

Hi this module is bindable with Orange R615X? Thanxs
 v_max 4835 points
no, Orange use DSM2/DSMX protocol... Frsky ACSST protocol is not compatible

Hi guys! Will this module work with Turnigy 9x 8C receiver?
 v_max 4835 points
Yes, but you would need to cut out some plastic to let module fit the dock completely. T9X has some plastic around module connector pins which do not allow to module to fit completely. You may cut this on TX body, but much easier to cut out plastic separators around pin sockets on this module. Then module fit. You also would need antenna mod. Unsolder stock antenna from inside t9x stock module, untighen antenna fixing screw and pull out stock antenna with it's wire from tx body.

Aggggghhh... sorry, missread your question... No... Turnigy 9x 8C receiver wouldn't work with TX module from combo. It use different protocols

You need USBASP programmer to flash .hex file Under files tab you will find tiny image with USBASP connections. I used avrdude (commandline) to flash.. avrdude -c usbasp -p m328p -e -U flash:w:SimpleBGC_2_2b2_null.hex Here is link to youtube file... In description below you will find link to firmware

I'm new to RC flying. I bought the Turnigy 9XR Pro and the FrSKY DJ Combo. The FrSKY just arrived but didn't have any instructions. Do I just plug it into the back and turn on the Transmitter? Are there any setup steps I need to do?
 Carolina/Emilio 2 points
This video is the answer, you should bind the system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id1zDfxOmZA

Yes, You first would need antenna mod. Unsolder stock antenna from inside t9x stock module, untighen antenna fixing screw and pull out stock antenna with it's wire from tx body. Second, you would need to cut out some plastic to let module fit the dock completely. T9X has some plastic around module connector pins which do not allow to module to fit completely. You may cut this on TX body, but much easier to cut out plastic separators around pin sockets on this module. Then module fit. Next... check in T9X settings you have set modulation to 8ch PPM mode And last. Set switches on TX module according to RX type (according instructuion for RX which is packed inside RX blister) Then follow binding instructions. The same scanned copies of instructions are available here under 'files' tab

The JR 3810 is the same radio as the 8103. For marketing reasons it is labelled as the 8103 when sold in the USA, and as the 3810 everywhere else. Modules are interchangeable. The numbers stand for 3 model types, 8 channels, 10 model memories. So yes, it will accept the FrSky module.

Guys, I been using this modules since their first beta system , and I can tell you is the BEST SYSTEM YOU CAN GET here is the main Thing I can say:
a) True FHSS system (equivalent to Futaba FAST Frequency hopping)
b) True Fail Safe setup (and easy to setup)
c) Range test perform in our clud give better than 1.2 miles and this under heavy noise (we had 5 Spektrum and 5 Futaba systems ON plus one wireless system plus a noise generator on the 2.

Continuation:
c) Range test perform in our clud give better than 1.2 miles and this under heavy noise (we had 5 Spektrum and 5 Futaba systems ON plus one wireless system plus a noise generator on the 2.4GHZ spectrum) and the system perform w/o a problem.
d) Very tolerant to low voltage (put down the voltage under 3V and still was working)
In few works VERY GOOD SYSTEM, much better than any DSM system (Like Spektrum DSM2 or Corona DSM etc.), Ve
