Hi all I have this 182 and it servos are the same as the HK15148B 19g not 9g as it is on the spec.Am I wrong in this or are the spec wrong.

I know the requirements list a "45A ESC", however it is my understanding from watching some video reviews posted here that this motor actually draws over 70A. Can anyone comment on this?

I have several HK war birds. I am considering this 1-82. If it comes in 2 boxes**- does that mean double shipping? My shipping has been ard $42-$45 per plane to Sk. Canada.
Looking for the spring thaw so that I can get some flying in. LOL

I'm from Argentina and the norwegians have no problem sending it to my country for a somewhat reasonable shipping price. I must wait for it to arrive, I'll tell you then how it went. Salu2

*pavelrg I think my friend that the shipping accounting according to the weight and not per parcel..nowhere says that the shipping cost is accordance of the boxes..all the cost calculations goes according with weight...! I am also from Greece and the cost is like that that i described to you..! Hope my post helps all of you..!! Saludos a Españ*a!!!!!!!

I got on net and found (flyinglindy,homestead****) It said the floats should be 70%<80% of fuselage from back of prop to hinge line of the tail feathers,which is 49" that makes the floats around 37". Boats are easer to build.

Thank King.Now is you please to tell to me what is mean DSM2 and DSMX radio and which trasmitters they can work with. What is difference between radios for bigger price you are selling and the radios you are selling for $28. Which radios are necessary to use with the models which have installed transmitter? Is it possible to by any plane with preistalled transmitter and use radios for $28 with this transmitter. What is the difference between radio mode1 and mode 2. Does exist radios and transmitters which are cover all modes? And if there is no availability in Australian ware house how possible to get necessary item,- like buttery?

i can help u with few question. mode 1 has the throttle stick on the left, the mode 2 the throttle is at the right, any 4ch controller will work (throttle, rudder/wheel steering, ailerons and elevator). put the HK store to australian ware house, and check if their is, probably some lipo will also be for sale, their is a giant 182 in australian warehouse.

That is bull****! MODE2 has Throttle on left side and Mode1 hast throttle on right side. Elevator is on right vertical stick if Mode2 and Ailerator is on horizontal stick at Mode2. RUdder is on left horizontal stick if Mode2

yes this is a very stable aircraft i got mine 18 months ago and still going well.

No... it is not really for a complete beginner. You would be better off with a 4 channel in the size and style of the HobbyKing Bixler. It will be more forgiving and a lot less expensive in repairs as you learn. I learned on a 3 channel 40" high wing that I still have. Happy flying....

Also that plane is not the right one! FOR BEGINNERS please use Sky Surfer with 4 channel. The risk of crashs not a problem, because the main wing spring easy away and you can connect it again by magnetics

Had ordered this plane while in stock but it was out of stock when our PP payment went through. Cancelled the order to wait for new stock. Was told would get my refund in 2-3 Days. Still haven't received my refund and the Plane is back in stock...

Finally got my refund and re-ordered this plane. It arrived a few days ago... Damn this Cessna is huge. The only negatives I've found are that the Decals are not already applied. What a PITA to put them on nicely. The other Negative is the front wheel suspension is quite wobbly. I've changed that to a more solid Dubro spring front axle assembly. I've also started modifying the plane as described by RCInformer. Thanks for that RCInformer...

Hello* I am happy you have a Cessna 73". I was quite "blown-away" when i opened the box and and saw mine. It is a huge plane. My "buddies" will be asttonished when i bring it to the flying field. Got to love it!!

When i take it to the field 1st time i am going take it up high, 30-40 ft and fly around. Get the feel of it. Glide & use little throttle. Once i understand Cessna 73" i can l can land nicely. Wish me luck. Thank-you pilots!!

THis plane is awesome. Flys great and scale like..just like the real 182 I have flown. Plently of power to take off on grass...stays tight in the pattern and glides in for landings like its on rails.
