Try to connect cable on Windows Administrator account. If You are not administrator, then win7 cannot write some information to registry and cable will not be working. This concerned all USB ports in Your computer.

Unplug cable, relog in windows to acount that have administrator privilges, and plug cable again. Windows should find new device and install it to Your system.

hi Mickfly,i found it worked only with fms(freeware and people are adding planes,landscapes all the time )and clearveiw which you pay a small fee for lifetime membership.this is not fact(only what i can remember reading from other members, i think) but i think it only works with earlier phoenix downloads and/or will only work with factory cable phoenix comes with.the biggest prob is the system it runs on and what it takes to get things going (no instructions).so im only going to tell how to setup 9x on your pc to try and cut out some troubleshooting.1)you need to allocate a model select for your sim to use only. 2)on pc you need to add a joystick app to your printer and devices if you dont already have one there.3)remove the module from back of 9x dont switch on tx ,it will powerup when you have sim and tx connected to pc(when you connect cable into back of tx). i found because you have to go through so many steps and also added by fact members are trying to help answering(which is a good thing because theirs no installation instructions and their input help me also)it took awhile to figure out what was causing my sim not to work.mine did not work with windows 8 and when it worked on another pc i had(windows xp)i never bothered to find out why.this sim cable is only compatable with given sims above ,but like i said could only get fms and cleaveiw free play going (i gave up on the rest because im happy with fms ,15 planes i can fly and this is a good price if your not into sims in a big way).also has made my flying alot better (good training tool) hope this info helps a little if any goodluck happy flying

hi Franco,this is the problem.their are alot of ways to hook this system up to your pc and if its compatable with the system your running.i only answered Mickfly(thanks for cred Mickfly but happy to help, cheers)to try and cut out some of the trouble shooting you will have to go through in order to get it to work with your system(so you know its not that problem causing it not to work)i even had my mate whos a computer programmer have a quick look at it when i set it up,some people swear by using this app and others say use this,even my mate said you dont have to use a couple things i downloaded,so WTF.i found as i suggested to Mickfly you will be doing homework but do these things above if you have a similar tx etc so you can eleminate them from your troubleshooting, so i cant answer your question.just to add -i was on the hk forum and found 1 member has posted a setup aswill you might want to fellow which was similar to the way i did it. go to forum looking for Transmitters and Receivers ,tap and scoll down to How-to: Using your transmitter for simulator use. if i can add more advice, if you have brought this ubs sim just get a sim going like fms before you start looking at the others (its freeware).once everything is running sweet,then delete it off your pc and change sims you would like to download.it sounds as though im promoting fms which is not true(im happy with it)lol i just found it was the easiest to download .goodluck friends.

Silvo they all went a few days ago. All the files under the Orange File tabs are gone. I asked Live CS, they said they know, but said they out for some update. Let us hope they come back soon!
