A bit difficult, really. I would suggest you place it on the bench and build your helicopter around it. Dont't forget to place it beside a spare cocktail cabinet for the pilot! But seriously, not a bad little gift idea for a modelling mate, don't you think?
At $11, HK seems to recover the entire R&D cost! Who cares if this is CNC cut or knought! this is too much a price for piece of metal with holes for tools! Just like the Z-Bender, HK needs to re-look its pricing.
Try to just get a plain aluminum plate laser engraved with 12 letters for $11 in the US or Europe. I do wish they would add characters like apostrophe.

Actually, I thought this was a real steal. I thought it would be low quality (at this low price), but I was very surprised at the quality of the font/etching. Definitely a deal at under $12.00! It is sturdy, attractive and I am going to order 2 or 3 more with my next order. HK keep it up - would like to see other personalized tools in your inventory!
What are the hole diameters? I have some Wiha hex drivers that this would work nicely for, but the grips for Wiha tools aren't as wide as some others and I wouldn't want them to fall through the holder.
Received today. The text is very beautiful, and without any inperfection on the letters.
All the parts are perfectly machined and has no cutting edges. Really easto build.
Maybe, the decks should be a little bit longer to remove the free play when stand is mounted, but is a minor thing.
A must buy for this low price!

Received and "assembled" today. (4 screws) Excellent product, very well machined. Good quality on text. A bit too big diameter on the lower shelf, but hey: this is a must buy! =)
Really upgraded my hobby room!

Nice quality... but custom text is not "etched" as advertised (bummer!)... simply silkscreened in white italic text...
a nice small stand. I wanted two, one for self and friend with different names on them. They can't be ordered at the same time so the next order another one will be included.
