1147 prop and 3s may burn this motor after 2-3 mins of full throttle... safest part is 1045-47 with 3s...
And you will get 190-200w of power.. for more thrust you could have opt for the 2836/8 with 1047 and 3s for 1000 gms
I dont get it with the specs on this motor
Two readings for max current one 14Amp and one 20Amp
Huge differnce there
20 Amp seems the most likely if the watts are 200 but how would we know if thats right?
Yes, I had one of these motors laying around, and when i read your question, I tried to reverse it. You need to remove few parts(there are many videos about this on youtube) and remove the shaft, maybe get a new one to put in or just put same one reversed. Please award credits if this helped.
I've bought 4 of this motor for my gaui 500x. I use 3s lipo 2200mah 35c All not work well. Quad jumping, vertical hop in hovering.
I've Esc Turnigy Plus 25A, there is any setting to do like timing or any parameter?
I've 10x4,5 prop.
Quad is 1,2kg
What can i do?
This ESC with smooth Throttle response is not ggod for multirotors, you need as fast response as possible. Maybe you can flash it with Simon Kirby firmware (warranty void i suppose) see: *******wiki.openpilot****/display/Doc/Flashing Instructions
I'm not sure that the problem is the ESC. Fast or smooth response.
The problem is mostly standing still hovering without touching the trhottle.
These ESC are fine with the original engines Gaui 1050kv.
Why do you say that is a problem of throttle response? You can explain better?
I know for a fact that those will NOT work, not a good enough refresh rate! I've tried them and they don't work, you can use a plush, or the A.E. ones are working real good for me. Cant flash that ESC, the only one you couldn't flash, I bought the programmer, and it doesn't even re flash!!! You will need different ESC's or find someone who can flash what you already have.
Sorry man, for the bad news
I'm sorry!!! I thought said you had the brick 25, not the plush. Ok, all my plush work fine, just need to use the highest response rate in the programming.
Again, my bad. It's the red brick 25's you can't flash. Plush should be good to flash unless it's the new ones with silabs chip. From what I've read
Tes, on the program card you make sure timing mode, #6 on the card is set to high.
Thats what I did on my Plush 12's, and they work great at that setting. Anything lower, the quad was all over the place
Yes, sure you can use that ESC but the ampere rating of ESC must never be less then the amperes required by motor otherwise you're gonna blow off your ESC i.e this motor takes 14A max current so the ampere rating of your ESC must be 14A or higher, good luck.
I've bought and received 3 of these motors for my try-copter project. They arrived without connectors and two of them are DOA (glitch) and not spinning.
Only one of these motors is fully functional.
What do I do to exchange them? Pleae advise ASAP!
i have 4 18a turnigy plush ESC a friend gave me. i want to build a smaller quad. will this motor be too much for those 18amp esc? what props are best for this motor and the 18 amp esc? how heavy can my model be?
10x3.8 slow fly or somewhere around there should work well for a quad with this motor. They will produce probably 500-600g of thrust and shouldn't exceed 20 amps at max throttle. Definitely try to keep the weight at or below 1000g.
Hallo, which brend is better ( price and quality)Turnigy or HobbyKing? In my case: http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__12920__D2826_ 10_1400kv_Brushless_Motor.html http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__17587__HobbyK ing_2824_Brushless_Outrunner_1300KV.html http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__12922__Turnig y_D2836_11_750KV_Brushless_Outrunner_Motor.html OR http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__15193__HobbyK ing_Donkey_ST3007_1100kv_Brushless_Motor.html THANKS)))
IT HAS 3 POLES. IMPORTANT CONTRARY TO CONVENTION RED=EARTH
black=negative(negative rotation is achieved by switching black and yellow)
p.s i have this motor for my quad .average thrust is 650 g(on the page is written 800g but that is on a fully charged battery ,lasts 1 min. or so.)
Hmm, I would think 9*6 would be seriously under propped at 750kv, I run my 1050 kv motors at 9*5E to 10*4.7SF or 10*6E on 3s and my 850's on 10*4.7sf to 11*6E *3s. I'll just have to play around with it
Suerte!

Neat Little Motor, but it doesn't seem fast enough for my custom built foamie.
I am new to this but I would suggest their 1400 Kv motor instead, i'm adding it to my basket as i write this.

Just installed it on my Park Master and it works great with 11x5 prop.
I needed to push the shaft to come out from the other side. I fits perfectly to the screws positions in the plane. The adapter needs to be installed not all the way because it touches the motor screws.
The plain is a little fast I will try it with 10x4.7 prop also.
The motor was not very hot after a 20 minutes of flight.

I have just received this product and it seems to be well made and certainly good value for money. Having not flown it yet I cannot comment on it's performance but I'm sure it will meet my requirements.
Having read one of the previous reviews who suggests "pushing the shaft through to the other side" I would ask if this is possible because I would also prefer the mounting holes to be at the front rather than the rear. Could somebody confirm if this is possible without damaging the motor? It seems risky to me!
