Does this 4mm Drive shaft with thread fit on the Square End of this Flexible Shaft Kit - Suit HobbyKing Vanquish 1075MM BOAT (Product ID: HK-VBP42-002)?

The flex axle has one end with square section. This part of the flexible axle assembles in the bigger diameter of the shaft. it has as well square fit...You don't need to glue it.
I soldered mine because I have spun mine in the square.Im running big power threw mine.If you are running big power and big prop.Im running a 52mm prop (realy too big for this flex shaft but it is holding it over 6 mounths of daily use)
Agree with the above. The 5mm side (larger side) is cut square inside to accept a 4mm flex shaft (such as HK-510B30 that is also cut square on one end). Unless you are running something really wild, you should not need to glue or solder as there is a good 12-15mm of the flex shaft that goes into the drive shaft. Hope this helps!
What flex axle and shaft strut to use for this? All seem to be to long for this? I guess the 5.5mm wider end keeps it from falling out through the strut.

i'm building a 768mm catamaran.
It seems to be to short for most. and What propeller mounting peices to use for it?
Whuy don't you sell complete packages like in other hobby shops with strut, flex wire with fixed axle in the end, and dog propeller montings? for around 15-20usd?
My experience with this shafts is very bad.Square whole was made not in central position. Strength of this part very low after 20 seconds swimming on HK Apparition shaft was broken (6 pieces) (square side). Shaft looks steel made, but it is not steel.
If you solder it ,it wil not break.Im turning a 45mm prop and no problems since I soldered it. 62 MPH Every other for about a year now. And mine was steel.
