anyone know the dimension's of this tank?
Azalyn  50 points - 12/21/2010

Why is the hole on the mount is too big?
 Tim750R 28 points
The hole is probably that size so you can mount it with a rubber grommet to protect the fuel from vibration which may cause it to foam.

pode ser usado como tanque reserva de um heliomodelo JS 50!
 carlos 19 points
si, claro que te sirve como tanque auxiliar, no tengas duda

This tank I've seen like tank of nitro fuel for helicopters, aircraft also serves as installing it on a plane helps prevent bubbles to the engine or a stoppage in mismo.Saludos

Yup thats what it's for...

HobbyKing, what is the capacity of this tank? I need a header tank about 150 ml or less.
 Eric1180 2278 points

hobbyking on turbines?? oh my goodness. the project ideas are endless. im imagining jet powered go-karts and bikes, rc cars and lazy-boy chairs.

Hmmm looks like it might work as a turbine header tank too ? Say when is HK getting into some turbine stuff ?
 Eric1180 2278 points
I have been think the same thing... But they don't have the CS to take on turbines...
 H-KING_SCOTT 5161 points
Turbines, woooohoo, I can imagine the support questions.
"Which turbine can I use on my parkzone foamie and what fuel do I use?"
 Eric1180 2278 points
I would love seeing a TURBINE on a snap sale LOL

Turbines from hobby king... Im in!
 moller123456 649 points
Jason if you get turbines, then make a CS for turbines that just wont be answered, like all other mails*D
 Eric1180 2278 points
Turbines have to be serviced every 25 hours of run time.....! Any one else want to send you $1000 in the mail back to china every 2 months. I guess they don't have to be serviced every 25 but if you want to keep the warrenty from the manufacture you have to. or does the AMA require you to every 25 for insurance coverage

And service every 2 months????? 25 hours is alot, normally 1 to 2 years. Flight are normally 5-8 minutes so say 10 minutes run time. 25 hours is 150 flights. With a turbine jet you 'normally' don't fly that much *)
 Eric1180 2278 points
Hmm i never done the math before. That is a lot! I guess 25 hours would be like 3-4 years for me. I wouldn't fly a turbine very often. To much work preflighting if you were to fly every 1 or 2 weeks
