Is the inner diameter 3mm or 3.5mm? Why is HK's part description so freaking twisted?!!
 Gary49 3799 points
Worldwide the standard for bearing measurements is as follows; I.D x O.D x Width. So in the case of these bearings it is as follows; I.D 3mm x O.D 8mm x Width 3.5mm.
 Cacomistle 295 points
But there's this product described as 12 x5 x4mm (search GT500-051204). How confusing is that?
 Gary49 3799 points
Sorry, I'm confused now, where does the GT500 come in to it, these are listed for a 450.
 Cacomistle 295 points
I meant the GT500-051204 description is really bothering me. As you said 'the standard for bearing measurements is as follows* I.D x O.D x Width', yet that one is obviously wrong. For one who doesn't know which is the correct one, it's a mess.

What is the difference between this and GT450pro-147? They have exactly the same size as in the description. However the GT450pro-147 is 40% the price of this.

I am not sure of the difference but these fit the original Trex 450 Pro feather shaft nicely.

What exactly are "thrust bearings" and what do they do?
 wizzard363 26 points
they are the bearing inside the blade holder , they allow smooth travel for changing pitch
 Crashnbuild 2 points
Thrust bearings opperate like normal bearings, allowing rotation but are specifically designed for application in high load uses, like blade grips on heli rotors. With enough centrifical force reg bearings can get sticky. I have hk450 and upgraded to these, they work great!
 Iacopo 49 points
No way, thrust bearings are completely different from what we call "normal bearings". Thrust bearings are designed to let the two sides of the bearing spin freely, while normal bearings allow rotation between the inner and outer shaft.
