USA warehouse now open. Our USA warehouse is now open! Low cost shipping and an ever growing variety make ordering from the US warehouse even better value!
Designed to fit nearly all transmitter antenna positions and allow for a neck-strap, the new TURNIGY transmitter glove is a must have item for low temperature flying conditions.
Made with a heavyweight zip, durable transparent cover that wont get brittle in sub zero temperatures and padded cotton/nylon material to insulate and protect against wind, snow and light rain.
You now have one less excuse to avoid getting outside and flying your model aircraft.
A friend of mine purchased this item and then stiched chuffs on to keep warm in and the cold out from getting in the wrist parts he also added this item to it http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__14858__Ho bbyKing_Universal_Heater_System.html he sticked the pads in to the back and covered the pads in material. the unit and batt sits at the bottom of the glove and he can make it as warm as he likes.
I purchased four of these gloves and waterproofed them with a can of tent waterproofer two of them were recently subjected to a day of heavy rain racing R/C yachts, other modellers had their own Turnigy gloves which were not waterproofed and they became soggy and wet and so did their Tx's so it would seem that if you are to be out in the rain waterproofer woulod be a good idea.
You would think they would put this in the USA Warehouse. I have seen these things in action and they really do help. I fly all year around even in the snow and the worst thing is your fingers on the controller. Hobby King could sell a lot of these over here. They are hard to find even on there web site. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem .asp?idproduct=11738&aff=874311
I bought one of these and they do really stink. I hung it up on the porch for 3 months and it still stinks a little.I am sure it will be alright by next winter. LOL
ohh well then you could use the cloths dryer no heat make sure then trhow it in with a dryer shhet farbis softener place one in it and one in the dryer. or you could smoke it with insence hold it above the smoke of yor favorite scented insence hope that helps and hope mine thats still on the way doesnt smell bad!
Este es el protector para la llovizna, tambien es aconsejable en lugares donde hay torvellinos o remolinos que eleven la tierra del suelo, y me lleno la radio de tierra, y piedritas que traban los stick,
I understand this doesnt have muffs has anyone considered using leg warmers on their arms and spraying the material with tent water proofer to increase the water proof aspect of the glove?
ordered two from H K and they arrived in 7 Days from ordering then I ordered another two with straps for all four and those took a little longer at 9 days delivery time, I waterproofed them with a casn of tent waterproofer from the camping shop, these gloves do steam up a bit when your hands are warm and it is cold outside, the straps are longer than Futaba Straps and Ideal for taller people at a fraction of the price of the futaba neck strap in the UK. I am very happy with these gloves and so are my colleges to.
mine is on the way but when i get it i am going to sew in two pockets on the insides for warming sacs or gloves warmers they stay warm for 5 to 8 hours made for ice fishin. im gonna fly all day long lol. have fun guys
I have one of these and have not yet plucked up the courage to try a handlaunch yet! If there is someone about then ask them to chuck it for you. Bribe them by lending it for them to try. They are great and keep your pinkies nice and toastie. Protects well from a cold breeze. Look forward to here how the handlaunching goes. GOOD LUCK. I will practice with something that can take a beating!!!
i use my throttle hand to launch with so i have full control of the plane at all times. if your not use to launching with your throttle hand i would highly recommend practicing doing it since i have learnt it i have had zero failed launches since my hand is ready to put oppisite lock on to stop torque roll
it feels odd to start with since im right handed and im total useless with my left hand but after about 10 left handed launches it felt more natural with my left then my right and once you get the hang of it your think why wasnt i doing this from the start. so much smoother
just TESTED THROWING A GLIDER AND i WAS EASILY ABLE TO PUT MY RIGHT HAND BACK TO THE CONTROLS FAST ENOUGH. tURNIGY DID A PERFECT JOB OF SIZING THE 2 OPENINGS.
does anybody know how long it take registered airmail to get to the UK I think the snow would have been and gone by the time it gets here, anyway I guess I am lucky to get hold of a couple of these, my 80 year old Father will be pleased.

2 months ??? I have been waiting for 1 month and still believe this should get in stock in few days. Omg why they keep people waiting with the notice "Stock usually arrives every 10-25 days" ???
in canada -15 to -20 celcius wen will be restocked . 2 many warehouses now . stuff sent all over . australia has summer but they have the glove there . ???
Add a elastic waist or loop and hook tape would make it perfect. Also the material could be a lil thicker. But overall its kinda good for cold windy days.
Has got the given goods. Very fine! Now it is possible snow, a cold wind aren't afraid of a rain. All is thought over. Good fellows, the good goods. If still to add a rigid bottom, there would be 5 stars, and just 4 :)
To fly in Europe, It's a must to have. That glove protect also your hands from cold wind. It cost half the price that in Europe for the same quality. I recommend it. Just four stars for the missing neckstrap.
