I have been waiting for this part for over 30 days, that's just counting from when I ordered. I have asked customer support but tey gave me the standard response.

OK, but if the metal base is now hollow, how are we supposed to mount the gyro?

wonder what the dimensions of that hole are?... might be perfect for mounting a small gyro like the Spartan Quark inside, secure/well protected etc.

The hole is roughly 2mm X 1.7mm, with rounded corners. As there is nothing under the hole, there's nothing on which to mount the gyro. Also, the carbon fibre fin is too thin... the anti-rotation pin can pop out during flight.

itll hold on the sides , but apply more double sided tape! hope it helps , anyways less contact= less vibration

I have been looking at getting this for some time,
the quality is good and it fitted on my Hk 450 pro with no problems.
just make sure that it runs smoothly, i sanded it dowm with 320 wet dry

My Jr 370 Gyro fitted on well, holding powerof the gyro seems to be better.

very good looks fab again Hobby King well done on price!

Off spec, first the spacing in the carbon upright for anti rotation shaft is too narrow and must be sanded evenly in order to install with the shaft. Second the carbon upright sits too far behind and may cause the anti rotation shaft to fall out in certain height and pitch angles. Is a nice design just needs spacing and modifying so that it's functional, if you want reliability then stick with stock, if you like to be crafty then this is for you, but price is nice so no major complaints here.
