They were all bought off by vendors, other stores and then flashed and re-labeled with a sticker on top of HKing's and re-sold for $12 ~$15 each. Now even those resellers are out of stock. There's a huge demand for these due to the big trend and popularity of the new Mini H-quads such as BAH, RD230, Blackout, Kwad, etc. I bet, once they show up in stock they'll be gobbled up like fresh brains at a zombie party.
Just letting you know from personal experience that these do work and will turn on with 4s.
I built a f330 quad with 1275kv motors running nanowii. Even though the motors and escs are 3s spec, they will run on 4s. Why would I do something like that? For insane amounts of lift and power that's why. At the end of an almost 20 minute flight with a 2650 4s zippy, both escs and motors were barely warm. Some people are also using 4s with these escs on mini h quads and mini hexes for more power. Only recommended with certain high kv motors as a few people have burnt their motors out.
All I'm saying is if you want to build an over-powered mini multi with these escs, it's possible. As for whether there's an increase chance of burning a motor out the answer is probably yes but don't take the risk if you don't want the reward.
Ok, maybe you put SimonK on them or something, I know mine didn't come on with a 4s. I still wouldn't recommend it in general, as a lot of hobbyists are not comfortable with doing repairs and modifications. Yes, there are people that take it to the edge, and I appreciate that too, but that is more of the "do not try this at home" category for most.
