If you are concened about RF noise this ESC may produce, try PRODUCT ID: TR-UBEC (or "TURNIGY 3A UBEC w/ Noise Reduction"). I have two of those, and it is worth any cent you spent - so low ripple voltage, and no RF noise. Highly recommended, even if you have many ESCs on your quad, or whatsoever you have. Also, you may be surprised how much additional distance your receiver can receive signal from your transmitter.
1 plug it off from the megapirte and put it into your receiver on Channel3 (throttle).
The esc should be attached to a motor.
2 full throttle on the transmitter.
3 Turn on the transmitter.
4 turn on the power for receiver ESC attached motor. => you will hear 1 beep.
5 while everything is on, turn the throttle to 0. => you will hear 2 beeps.
6 switch everything off
7 switch everything on and test the calibration.
8 your esc is calibrated and you can put it on your megapirate again.
