S-Pro FP II 2.4Ghz Micro Heli w/ 2.4Ghz Tx (V2)
S-Pro FP II 2.4Ghz Micro Heli w/ 2.4Ghz Tx (V2)

FIXED WING PILOTS, DONT BE AFRAID!
With a little practice, anyone can hover this heli!

Find out why other helicopter factories try to copy but just cant beat the quality and excellent flying characteristics of this micro heli.
This little heli is a favourite in the HobbyKing office. Its flawless flying characteristics as well as advance controllability mean that novices can hover and practice figure-eight maneuvers while advance pilots can push the heli through faster and more exciting flying by clicking the D/R stick for full servo throws and speed.
You will not be dissapointed with this little heli. Its got all the functionality of a Fixed Pitch model in a micro sized package.
The transmitter might look a bit funky, but its actually a well built device that gives precise control of the heli. Unlike other China-Cheap helis, this unit has 2.4Ghz technology and you can bind any number of Helis to the Tx. The Tx can also be changed from Mode1 to Mode2 very easily.
You will also find the heli to be very robust and able to withstand a great number of crashes. However, should you find the need to replace something, we stock a full range of spares for this heli.
We have tested many helicopters from China and can safely say that this heli is by far the best available in the F.P. Micro heli category. In terms of quality and flying ability it is on par with the Blade mSR.

Solo Pro II, upgrade to your coaxial heli. Solo Pro RTF 2.4Ghz takes ultra-micro helicopter performance to the next level. Its unique 2.4Ghz LCD transmitter is convertable into any mode (throttle on right or left). Also equipped with night glow ski, main blades, tail blades and vertical fin which gives a unique sensation in dark.
Whether youre just graduating from co-axial helicopters or are a seasoned pilot, you will love this heli!  Weighing in at under 1 ounce, the SOLO PRO II can be flown anywhere.  Basements, small living rooms, garages, basements... even outside!  Nine Eagles has taken the time to make this a true outdoor heli.  It can handle wind much like larger helis.  Due to its weight and size, the SOLO PRO II is extremely maneuverable and has great forward flight speeds.  Durability is key with micro helis, and this heli can take a beating!  For single-rotor ultra-micro heli excitement you can fly almost anywhere, the Solo Pro II simply cant be beat.
Features:
No assembly required; be in the air within 10 minutes of opening the box!
4-channel control enables movement up/down, forward/backward, left/right, spin left/right.
Well-designed mechanisms and electronics makes it very stable and extremely easy to hover
Both "standard" and "aggressive" flight modes can be enabled by Sensitivity selection switch on the transmitter
Transmitter Display shows current power level, mode, sensitivity selection, trim settings, and throttle speed
Integrated LiPo Battery Charger built in to the transmitter enables the battery to be recharged wherever you are.

Check out the video here: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/HK_movies2.asp?idmovie=98d8289d80bf4a1a9a5c43ba4ba2e8fb . Note: The pilot's rather good, newbies will not fly like this out of the box ;) And NEVER fly your heli in WIND - these are Indoor helis but like to go outside on "still" days. Enjoy :)

Where are the spares? This is taking too long. It is a fantastic little heli but i can't get extras.... I have had ordered batteries well over a month ago and have to keep canceling to get the otherparts through. Can we have a update please.
   eddi (33%)
Take my advice Noicky and get the Bind-n-fly version of this beatiful heli and use it for spare parts. This way will be cheaper than buying the parts seperatly.

not buy this at this price. i have buy 2 and i m very disappointed.

swashplate has huge game and steal + it looks to the left and pulls to the left.

do not buy this at this price
   The1CZ (69%)
kinda to late*) I hope it works well*)
   mouchadino (29%)
cheap heli durable and comfortable playing indoors//outdoors
   hohenheim (60%)
Yeah I agree. Its swashplate is strange, it is not standing level in neutral stick positions. It has some tricks I think. And the biggest problem is that, they had not able to make the servo travel limits correctly in outdoor mode. Because of that my elevator servo got stuck at full forward. Everytime I give full forward it got stuck. I started to investigate the problem after that, I looked at the servo feedback potentiometers but couldn't make it work and while I'm working on it a smoke came from the receiver board and it went to the RC heaven... I'm very disappointed because it came to me on Monday and died on Saturday. Maybe I'm unlucky. I don't have fortune with these things after all.
   Viper DaSnake (32%)
I have 3, all work fine.... Until I slam them into the wall 4 or 5 times. I cant believe how tough these things are...!!!
   Ludmila (25%)
I think the heli is great and it flies good
   jdale (-25%)
I just bought, too bad your review does not show up in the reviews on the product page :(
   Jay (100%)
This heli has a 90 degree swash plate, (which is unusual for a single rotor). The "strange" setup is to help trim the heli for easier take-off and hover (for newbies). Because of this, you can only trim them in hover, not by eye. But the out-of-box setup is very close - don't change the push-rod setup unless you know what you are doing - use the digital trims on the controller each flight... *hohenheim i feel your pain - have a point :) - HK Customer Support can be very friendly - ask them nicely and they may credit you *) .... I agree with your comment about full mode - i've had the balancing rod strike the tail boom several times outdoors, luckily they are so resilient. They're not really designed for aggressive outdoor flying, but soooo much fun indoors :)

The price of 99.99 $, it seems to be a mistake
If the price is added to the cart of the purchase it changes at the cost of 54.99 $

Not serious I joust camprarlo mas expensivly that the previous companions and to 99.99 $ already I find in espaa with maletin of included aluminium, and in postage and handling to add him.

But to 54.99 $ it is insuperable

Rocky T (24%)
Just out of box. It kept rotating by main rotor torque. Full right rudder trim can't stop the rotating fuselage. Full right stick barely hover it. It looked like a defective tail motor. Hitecrcd told me that "spare parts are available." Why do I have to buy the spare motor for this new one? Anybody had replaced the tail motor and fixed the same problem?
   mouchadino (29%)
check connection (carbon the tail sticking with the heli body usually from the factory connection is not perfect
   Rocky T (24%)
Thanks mouchadino. I had information from web said about ***r tail motor quality* already replaced it and fixed the problem. I took the motor from other Chinese coax heli that it had the same size with better quality. I don't believe all the products were tested in the factory. I sent the bad motor to HitecRCD, but no response.

Just replace the tail motor!!
   jdale (-25%)
Disapointing, i just bought, hope I don't have this problem. It seems only the good reviews get listed on the product page.

I just ordered 3 and heaps of spares was only meant to order 1 lol, can't wait till it arrives way better price than the Blade Msr. Cheers Hobby King!

Does someone know why "processing" (after you paid and the article is in the stock) can take weeks?
   Brutis (73%)
You are awsome dude. solo pro is great
   mouchadino (29%)
same with me
   mouchadino (29%)
why stock spare parts and hold negative stock
   Jay (100%)
>why stock spare parts and hold negative stock It's the Hobby King way! At these prices, their stock sells out as soon as it comes in. If they didn't allow you to back-order you'd have about a 1 hour window to order on new stock before it sells out. Just place your order, and wait patiently, knowing you're getting a good deal. In the 2-3 weeks it takes for stock* download an "RC Flight Simulator" and learn to fly a 4-channel heli - this will help avoid too many wall collisions :)

Why are there 4 x AA Batteries included? I'd rather utilize their wheight for replacement parts and drop in some NiMH I already have....
   Brutis (73%)
I think 4 battery's included are standard, but I agree spare parts would be nicer like the blade msr.
   Burnaby (75%)
B!tch about batteries NOT included* then about batteries included, can't win. These probably comes in retail pkg for B&M stores with everything included. Removing the batteries requires labor.

i have my little heli and it is a great toy mine leans to the right in hover is that the way it is or is there something i need to do i am new to the these anddont know if this is normal thanks .bunta
   ishady (68%)
Same here brotha,
If you look closely the swashplate is not perpendicular either, and look at one of its skid, its tilted several milimeters above, they must be there for some reason.
My advice: just trim your heli for a stable hover by clicking its particular remote's trimmer* for your case a few clicks left at the aileron trimmer should do the trick.
Hope those help. Thanks.
This customer was awarded a credit for their answer.
   condor414 (54%)
It is normal. Mine leans to right also and youtube videos of this heli show it leaning.
   Nobby (-44%)
The manufacturer has designed the frame and swash to give the little heli some better Pitch n roll abilitys and if you look closly you will see the same ofset and weight redistribution tricks used on many other Helis including the Eflight MSR.As said trim for level flight and enjoy the amazing ability you have in a $50 RTF Heli.Youll save twice that when you fly your full size Heli one day
   Jay (100%)
The posts above are all spot on. All properly trimmed RC helis fly with the right skid down in stable hover (this is what you want) - At the start of each flight, use the digital trims to 'trim' your heli, until it will hover in the same spot 'hands-off' for several seconds - this will make controlling it (and recovery) much easier. Because it uses electric servos and tail motor, the heli will 'lose' trim as the battery loses power - this is perfectly normal. ALWAYS land and re-charge when the heli loses power - LiPo batteries can be permanently damaged if over discharged. Why the heli wants to "fly" to the left: The motor spins producing torque... that spins the main rotor clockwise (and the torque tries to spin the heli counter-clockwise) The tail rotor motor produces torque to stop the heli counter-rotating. The tail and main rotor torques cancel out the heli rotation, but in doing so produce a smaller force that tries to slide the heli left. By trimming the heli to pitch slightly right, you cancel out this force and heli hovers in the same spot :) Real helicopters trim this out in a similar way, but mount the main rotor shaft (and tail rotor) at a slight angle, so that the passengers (and heli) are sitting level in flight :) The Nine Eagles has several mods to make it easier for a newbie to take-off and hover.

This is the same as mine. I guess as long as it can hold position in a hover it is normal.

   Brutis (73%)
It's a 3 prong plug, u might need a adaptor. In Australia I need to use an adaptor.
   Storchfly (17%)
You will need and adapter. I used and adapter but the power supply burnt out instantly on the 240Volt supply. I bought a new power supply from Jaycar and this works great. Be sure to get a power supply with a 6 volt out put and plug to suit the charger.

Eventually, my dreamed micro heli has been listed in HK. Bad news is the stock ran out so fast before I could manage to grab one, sigh...
   Brutis (73%)
Hahahah me too I feel your pain I was about to order then bam all gone!

   ITMax61MI (45%)
Other problem is the stock ran out so fast for all the spare parts also. I will not buy the hely until also the parts are on stock, in order to place all in the same order (otherwise the shipping costs would weigh too much).
This customer was awarded a credit for their answer.
   nowinkk (85%)
All spare parts were on back order, and this situation has rendered me with hesitation to proceed with the purchase of the kit although it has just come into stock. The reason is I wish to bundle some parts with the kit in order to save on shipping.
   nowinkk (85%)
Simply couldn't resist the temptation. While ordering some other stuff, this tiny gem came into stock, so I picked up one to add to my cart eventhough there is no availability of any spare parts.

Funny that my SOLOPRO although could hover steadily and practically no-hand (after a small setup thou)* it stand hover rather to the right side but it didnt move.
And the factory swash setup is strange to which is rather back comparing to normal/should do heli setup,i.e.level or zero degree.
But the heli flew alrite and really can take a beating.
Havent try outdoor thou.

A word of advice - the Nine Eagles batteries has a different connection than the Eflite ones, and this version only comes with one.
Untill HK brings those batteries this heli is for 5-6 min flight and 20~ min charge.
NE vs. Eflite
   Lead Wings (93%)
If you get the Eflight batteries form here ($1.50 each) and solder the battery connector like this on, you can use either

***********hobbycity****/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9727
   jakuban (87%)
right!!! what for pay for nine eagles batteries $9,99 if you can change connector and use batteries from HC for $1,5
   bubuu (53%)
what exactly do i have to change in order to use the e-flite-style batteries?
   Keith (76%)
You grab a pair of pliers, turn the heli upside down, Snip-snip, the old plug falls to the ground, warm up your soldering iron, slide heat shrink on wires and push it to the back, solder on new Female E-Flite/Parkzone plug, slide heat shrink back over solder and apply heat to shrink... Then you go flying!

Good luck.
   bubuu (53%)
thank you! this sounds like i could easily make an adaptor with the cables mentioned above in order to use both types of batteries *)
   Keith (76%)
Sounds good, just make sure the polarity is right... as these batteries don't have wires,(+ -) will probally be printed on the foil)

What is the standart of 2.4Ghz in heli-only kits? To what system it will be bindable to?
   kotlec (75%)
I wonder what 2,4 system it is ?
   Lead Wings (93%)
Like all 2.4 GHz systems, it is only usable with the manufacturuer's equipment. So it is a 9 Eagles system that will only work with 9 Eagles gear.

That said, they make good stuff - the 9 Eagles coax I have is great, flies well (reviews say better than the MCX) and tough. The Tx is good quality, odd shape but works well.

Only point of note is the Tx chews through batteries using the in-built charger, so get rechargable AA's for it.
   kctrading (42%)
I may order one of these when parts come available.
   matk@shaw.ca (59%)
Can I used this on Hobby king TX, corrona or other sytem? like the heli but not it TX.Thank
   Rikku007 (36%)
No, it is only compatible with the Nine Eagles Radio, as far as I know...
   regevam (20%)
Is it really 4ch controlled?, because i look in youtube, and its seams that it keep moving in circles
   Jay (100%)
Hi *regevam, I own this heli (and a larger 6CH HoneyBee King II) and I can confirm it is a true 4 Channel. You are quite right to be careful, as there are a lot of micro "2.5CH" / "3CH" helis. The heli is a true 4CH with a 90 swash plate (which is unusual, but makes it easier to control) This is not a co-axial heli though, so takes more ability to fly (and is a lot more rewarding). The controller is 2.4GHz, and can charge the heli LiPo battery - which is handy - Just make sure you have 4 good re-chargeable AA's - or buy the separate charger - otherwise you will spend a fortune on Duracell's! Happy flying!
