GF325 or HK-1193 Which would you perfer? both are in stock at the USA wearhouse. This is for a Blade 450 3D, with itermediate experiance.
 twistedge 43 points
Personally, I prefer the white blades for visibility. I have one set of all black carbons and I've only used them once. These are cheaper and work well for mild 3D.

Would these work on a flybarless heli? (originally came with 29cm glass fibre blades)
 twistedge 43 points
These are fine.. I just put a pair on my 450 FBL with ZYX-S. I bought 3 pairs and the first set was near perfectly balanced right out of the bag. I don't do hard 3D, but standard flying with these looked and sounded great.

galera preciso comprar uma blade para meu blade 450 de carbono mas como escolher aqui??
 luciano 9 points
Voce pode usar o tamanho 325mm para seu 450. Em relaç*ã*o ao modelo fica a sua preferencia .

actually with the lighter nature of these blades and the price and stiffness of these particular blades one will find that they desinagrate with impact and loose lots of momentum rather than hold inertia like the f-glass or woodies. I have bent more feathering and mainshafts with the f-glass and woddies on this heli than with the "stock" blades. I give these blades 5 stars for performance and cost. Kind of the best of both worlds.
Jljrm  6 points - 1/17/2013

OK between the fiber glass or the carbon fiber which one is the best
 John 64 points
I really like these blades, I have tried others and this is the best bang for the $ they will fly mild 3d and are lighter than woodies the draw back is that since they are so light when doing an autorotation you could loose head speed rapidly. I just bought 5 spare sets today.
Cheers John

Use fibre glass if you are a beginner and crash a lot. Use CF if you are looking for better response due to the stiffer nature of the blades, but are more costly too, no good for crashing.

the stock blades on most 450 size helicopters are 325 mm long and can be made out of wood, glass fiber and carbon fiber being the most exspensive
 John 64 points
These blades are foam core carbon fiber laminated if they are infact the stock HK450V2 blades...Dont Ask how I know.. :)
John  64 points - 11/23/2012

 StevenC 557 points

325mm or 335mm????

Theres another set of identical blades that are 10mm longer. Which set would be better for med-high headspeed on a HK-450GT?
Thanks!
 myke45 37 points
325mm should be better if you want med-high speed. use 335mm if you want more lift like in heavier model ex. scale models and models with fpv installed.

Is this grip size really 5mm?
I guess metal grip can not grip this blade...
Only for plastic grip, right?
 Clive_B 32 points
my metal grip held it perfectly until i drove it into the dust... oh well... $3.19 $2 shipping lost. Tear it down & start again!. These blades are definitely not the limiter to my heli flying ability.. :-(
 vfrjohn 27 points
I measured the grip thickness on my 1 pair at 4.5 to 4.6 mm. I will add shims to use them on my HK450GT with 4.7mm metal grips. A piece of aluminum Coke can should do nicely. They are very nice looking blades, light and stiff.
 h-bar 21 points
Yes the grip is 5mm. There is a brass insert in the bolt hole. I have them on a HK450GT that has all metal head with metal blade holders.
 chape00 31 points
Run well in 450 sport, metal.
 zbysiunio@vp.pl 494 points
no and no, and when it will supply ?????? Finally, maybe something will arrive in HK for goods missing,
 gehtl 2 points
The grip thickness is between 4.6 to 4.7.Fits well on my trex450 sports metal grip.

How is it performance with copterx-450?
 chape00 31 points
For a pair.
 o1hoegetter 1614 points
i think it for four halves you just glue them together with elmers glue-all and if you do it rite you can put a connector on both ends that way you can fly in reverse
 zbysiunio@vp.pl 494 points
no and no, and when it will supply ?????? Finally, maybe something will arrive in HK for goods missing
 zbysiunio@vp.pl 494 points

The quality of these blades is incredible when compared with the price. They are strong and track and fly really nice. Whatever you do, don't buy the 325mm Fiberglass Main Blade (with the red tips). Those blades are the complete opposite.
