Can someone plz help me understand how I am suppose to use this harness?
On my balance charger, there's the socket for the , signal & - wires going from battery to charger. (FYI, this charger charges Zippy Flightmax & Turnigy compatible balance adapters as it both have the JST - HX)
This harness only has the & - charge chord, how do I connect it to the charger?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Because this is really meant for single cell batteries, or unbalanced batteries, you do not plug it into the balance port. If your charger will allow it just plug it into the normal charge port, you may need an adapter for that. If you do not have a normal charge port, you could potentially make an adapter by using a balance connector and replacing the JST on this cable, or making an JST male to balance connector female adapter. In any case you want to wire it up as a single cell.

If I want to charge 6 pieces of batteries with MSR is 1S 960MAH or 6S 160MAH?

If you connect 6 pieces of 1s with this connector, they are in parallel. This means the charger should detect and charge the battery packs as ONE big 1s 960mAh. So the first setting is correct.

Hmmm this is why people prefer buying from America, you may pay double but at least you know it will be coming in less than a week.
The situation would be OK if only they gave us real ETA's...

So what will happen if you have 5 fully charged batteries and you plug a fully discharged battery in the last connector? Kaboom or not?
Lets ignore internal resistance and assume 1 battery can supply a minimum of 1A. With 5 batteries connected the 6th empty one will be charged at 5A by the rest. This equals 36C charge rate. Not good if you ask me!

Have a look at this thread over on RCGroups, its all explained. I Parallel charge all the time, the main danger is, if something goes wrong with one battery it could destroy them all. A battery going short circuit for example.

Thanks, I've read a few pages. It seems as if the currents will be much lower than I predicted. I have a lot of these small 138mah cells so will do a test.

Parallel charging, like at rcgroups described, works very good. But connecting a fully charged and a fully discharged together is never a good idea. Too much current will flow from one to the other. For example a 50% and a full discharged lipo is no problem.

Yes, I am using the Tejera Microsystems version of this idea..it works very well, charges 4 batts in an hour * 1C. The Tejera instructions state that the batteries will even "self-balance".

A home made arnes can be a good option, I make my self one of those, like the picture but I add a balance port, so, you can connect it directly to the balance charger port like any lipo pack....

They should have brought it out to a 6S balance connector so you could charge them with an intelligent charger.

If they should have brought it out to a 6S balance connector, you have only to charge 6 cells at same time, not 2,3,4 or 5 if you need.

agree, i built my own 2s so i can balance charge 2 at a time. but i do understand there are a lot of what ifs with this, i would love a 6s with a mini switching panel but the price to make would be silly just may go buy one of the 4 head chargers

Stearman97, here's what you do: Leave the black leads so that they're all connected, but clip the red leads so you have six separate ones. Buy a six cell balance lead extension and solder the black lead to the black lead on the extension, and all the red leads to each of the other six wires on the extension. Voila! Six balanced single-cell batteries.

Correct, however you cannot ignore internal resistance with voltages this small, but yes it would be bad. All of the batteries should have about the same level of charge before you connect them, if you have flown them all to the same time limit, or cutoff, then it should be fine.
