So I'm thinking of getting some of this to laser cut a new frame and landing gear for my tricopter, and I was wondering how this would compare to delrin. I know this will work just fine for the frame but I am worried about the landing gear. I want to do the horseshoe style landing gear and I not sure if this will be strong enough. I don't mind going to a thicker size if that's what I need but I don't want to make ANOTHER bad set of landing gear. I've seen landing gear made of delrin that people are very happy with. I don't know if the flex of delrin is needed as getting only carbon fiber would be much cheaper and much more convenient.
Thanks in advance - Travis
Is this carbon sheet like glass or like the material the rc manufactures use to make their parts from? What I mean is the parts that you can order from serpent rc,are like a hard gasket material not like glass.
Great stuff for the price. It is just as described. Looking closely at it I can see what looks like small scratches in the finish. Not the same quality as some carbon sheets I have had but it is still well worth the price. I'll buy more for my next project.
