Okay, make sure you have two cups you cna use for the epoxy. Put the two parts of the epoxy in the first cup and mix for a good minute. To make sure you have mixed it properly to get te best results and no weak spots, poor the mixed epoxy in the other cup and mix again for another minute. This makes sure that you don't have some unmixed parts sticking on the edges or in the corners of your cup. Good luck on the repair!

can i use this to cover my balsa made boat hull what resin hardner should i use for this
 Awni 164 points
Yes you can, as for the resin any type that is specialized for fiber glass will work fine
 Andrew 5 points
polyurethane
 bgjbrok 60 points
The cloth is perfect for covering balsa.
I would advive a 90 min epoxy. Not only gives it enough time to finish your work within the working time, but also will the resin have time to penetrate the wood for a maximum adhesion.
 beyond limits 18 points
Yes you can. Use 30 mins epoxy with a little alcohol mixed. Since its for a boat, you might also want to get the entire boat laminated once done up
 SIDDHARTH 1 points
just add hardener 2pcnt with resin and it will work perfect
 aJS32 281 points
I agree with bgjbrok, 90 minutes epoxy will do the job. Regards

What is the weight gram/square meter of this fabric
 bobskinner 65 points
I too would love to know the weight of this cloth. On the Twitter feed it said from 18g/m2 to 200g/m2. The "Medium weight" appears to be at around 270g/m2 according to a few reviews, so where does the light fit in? Will there be an extra super light that weighs in at around 18g/m2 or should we assume that is this lightest version?

A response from someone who has purchased this, or even from HobbyKing themselves would greatly help a lot of people decide whether to buy this or not, I would rather wait and not buy than buy it and have it be way too heavy and of no use for my its intended purpose.

For what it is, pretty good. Though this is 200gr/m2 cloth. Lighter, like 50gr/m2, would be welcome!

really good glass cloth but it is more than likely still too thick for my parkjets.com foam jet reinforcement but will give it a try to see if it ends up adding too much weight
