Spartan ds760 AVCS Gyro V2.0
Spartan ds760 AVCS Gyro V2.0

Whether you are an ambitious beginner, a 3D Pro or simply love gadgets the Spartan ds760 is the ultimate gyro choice for you. The ds760 is a high specification model helicopter gyro capable of delivering exceptionally consistent yaw rates even at eye-blurring speeds of over two full turns per second. The control is smooth and precise with a very solid feel and impressive holding power. The stopping characteristics give a nice soft, but precise response with no bounce back.

Whether you fly a 2.4GHz, PCM or PPM/FM radio system, use NiCDs or LiPo receiver battery, or want to use a 760uSec servo the ds760 will be happy to work with any combination you pick. In fact it can work direct from a 2S LiPo battery making it ready for the next generation of 7.4V servos.

Features:
Measuring a mere 28.4mm square and 12mm tall (1.1 x 1.1 x 0.5 inch)
Weighing just 16 grams
ds760 is without a doubt the smallest high performance gyro on the market.
The single unit and lightweight design together with adaptive control algorithms offer optimal performance for your helicopter whether you fly a miniature Hurricane 200 or large 90 size nitro machine.

is there a difference between this ds 670 and the spartan quark?
they look like they're same ones but are they 100% equally?
   3900Kv (62%)
DS 670 uses SMM sensors and Quark uses newer MEMS sensors so they are not equal. How much better is quark than DS760 I can't say.
This customer was awarded a credit for their answer.

All that I have read is that only size and weight difference, all other specifications seem to be similar... The only parameter that is unclear to me is that do they both have MEMS gapability
   Riff (45%)
***********spartan-rc****/products/ds760/ds760.php?p=2 They mention SMM technology but state under specifications MEMS sensor under type.

I logged in,in my account and i see the DS760 at the price of 239.99$ !!!How are you guys saying this is the cheapest you have ever seen???
   purong (74%)
you'll get a much lower price than that if you're a platinum member.
   Fernando (74%)
yes for platinium member the price is $149,95
   Daggo (63%)
I am a simple member,in other stores the gyro costs 160$-170$ why on earth would i want to get this one which is more expensive? And how will HK attract new customers???I am sure, not in this way...
   Burnaby (71%)
Buy more stuff to reach plat, you know you want it.
   purong (74%)
It's just a matter of preference. You can ride 2 different cars and get to your destination. If this gyro was a car, you'll get to your destination in style and really FAST! We always pay premium for quality and performance.
   huangteng (48%)
A gold member will get you the same price as a platinum. $149.95 IS the lowest you can find anywhere!
   Ghostfit (75%)
Dang !!! ...thanks to you guys who keep posting the actual price, you can be sure somebody will complain and armtwist the manufacturer into forcing HK to increase the price !!!

...Thanks alot, dorks ! :(
   Burnaby (71%)
+1 on reminder posting member prices (gold/plat) will get you banned.

Jason> Need a way to update these discussion posts or at least report them to Admin to remove these NoNo price quotes. Hate to see mfr force price increase.

Jason, please confirm that this is Version 2.0 and not the sport version (as indicated with the "S" sticker on the back of the box.

   fusionbrad (37%)

   Jason5001 (4%)
It is NOT the sport version.
   Ghostfit (75%)
Thanks Jason ! ...Thats good enough reassurance for me as I've one on the way (Not that I needed another top shelf gyro, but the price is too good to miss !) :)
   Burnaby (71%)
Are you using either the Spartan Blue-Link interface module
or the Spartan Flash-Link USB interface cable? or are they really needed?
   Ghostfit (75%)
The comments from my flying buddies are that you do not need to adjust anything to enjoy the benefits of this gyro.
The interfaces are meant for really fussy 3D flyers :)

I certainly hope the programming card from my Pheonixtech GT90 gyro is compatible !

This is certainly a welcome addition to the growing no. of gyros listed by HC. The price is the lowest i've seen so far compared to other sites.
   Ustas (86%)
The price at other site in Hong-Kong is $169
   Burnaby (71%)
This or the Futaba GY520 (if it was in stock).
   Ghostfit (75%)
I vote Spartan ds760 :)
   purong (74%)
I'll take this gyro anytime, any day compared to all others. Next to the Futaba 401 which was the previous benchmark, this is the next to become the benchmark of future gyros to come.
   slumberjer (88%)

   erictan (40%)

   purong (74%)
