I use the color for orientation of my quad (usually Yellow in the front and Orange in the rear), my quad does 50 mph in pylon racing, I really like to have the orientation correct, so black props will not work for me. My quality statement came from, if you can't control the color of your props, you most likely can't control quality.
What is the max rpm for these props? Can they handle at least 12,000rpm?
The problem with these props are that they are the best props u can buy,so everyone wants them and when they get in stock the will go real quick. thats why they are not available....:)
I've been waiting for these since October 2012 and they finally came into stock at 0948 GMT 14/05/2013, 8 months wait and they get 9 in stock! Unfortunately at 0949 GMT when I clicked on the link they were already out of stock :( Oh well, i'll try and be quicker next time.
Try these. Product ID: 9329000020. The only difference is that they are green and the hole is a little bit smaller. You might need to drill it out. I hope this helped.
Sorry RC FG, I have commented on the green one below.
I have 3packet on private stock..useless.
These green one you recomend are not the same performance, unbalanced out of the bag. Dont buy these. Does not have marking like 8x4.5 in the molding. The bag says Turnigi..better buy GWS 8043 instead, they seems to perform a lot better and fit without any ream job. When will these come in again??
I've got props that look like these ones: they have "0843" imprinted on the leading side of the props. Do these "8043" props sold by HK also have "0843" imprinted on the props? Or are "8043" and "0843" props two different types? If they are the same, please confirm. If they are different, would you please specify the difference.
Thank you very much for your help!

Estimated about 40 days .
Think that I had ordered them since the 10th of April
and less than a week ago when i decided to modify the order finally ,
i was told that it would be in stock about 40-45 days .
Don't waste your time consider of purchasing an equal prop already in stock instead .
Bonsoir je voudrais savoir si il y aura du stock un jour car cela fais plus de 2 mois que j'attends et je suis sur a pas etre le seul.
alors s'il vous plait fait rentrer du stock.
A
My order is pending since 10 Apr.
because of these props ...
What's the matter with them ?
They never come in stock ?
Come on HobbyKing ....
move on at last ,
it's been more than 45 days till now .
These are on very high demand, due to the popular BlueWonder (1300kv) 8x4 combination. Also, with summer comes an increase in sales because more people will be going out. Most of the said arrival date is to be trusted, but your props should be arriving any time soon. I do think there are 8x3.8 props around here, which shouldn't be that different, depending on your setup.
I agree with you mate mena142
and i believe you are absolutely right ,
but because the HobbyKing knows also ,
could either have a larger stock
or to bring the stock quicker .
Over 45 days is just too much !!
the raised letters on the propeller always face toward the front of the plane regardless of whether you front, mid or rear mount the motor. Hook up the three motor wires to the esc, change any two to change the direction of the motor.
The max speed for all the the larger GWS slow-fly propellers (slow-fly usually means curved blades instead of straight, like on this one), is 45000rpm/diameter. So for this 8 inch prop, safe RPM is 45000/8 = 5625 RPM.
I am sure they fly PERFECTLY SAFE at 45000 divide by 8 kv, 5600rpm, and even safer at 1000rpm LOL
I run these at 11K with out issues on a F330 quad, 50 mph, NTM 2826-1200kv, 4S 1800nano, F-30a simonk, 730G AUW, thrust to weight ratio is ~5:1, happy pylon racing :)
I've had them in black and orange (have seen them in bright yellow as well, but they are rare). You can spray-paint them, dont forget to balance afterwards.
Usually comes in either orange or black. If you get an orange one you can colour it with a brown sharpie to make it look like a wood prop. Gives a nice effect.
Orange or black. I've had hundreds of GWS props over the years, and seen hundreds more, all are orange or black. (have seen yellow copies)
This does not include the airbrushed ones. *-)
I order lots of this propellers and they usually comes in Black but occasionally comes in Orange.
I think Orange is a bit softer and can be reused more after crashed while Black seems more fragile and is a bit stiffer - more responsive.
(Think practice vs. competition)
