Do i have to buy any extra leads with this charger to charge it? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__8247__Tur nigy_2S_3S_Balance_Charger_Direct_110_240v_Input.htm l
can you suggest a better charger around this price?
Sure you can use this charger but if you are into RC for the long haul I suggest that you get the HobbyKing ECO8 150W 7A 8S Bal/Dis/Cyc Charger w/ acc. All you have to add the XT-60 to HXT 4mm Battery Adapter Lead (2pc) and you can charge anything under the sun up to 8S. This is the best option. The URLS are : www.link : www.link
By the way, for Aircraft/Heli users, I don't think your going to use something that draws 160 A for a long period. Also, IMO, the continuous C rate displayed by the manufacturer should not be considered as a standard continous C rate. This may be right for the first few cycles, but after...don't even think about drawing that A...For good results, I consider a battery C rate that is at least twice as the max application. Doing so, you'll be able to throw dozens of cycles.
Yes these are 50-51mm wide plus a few more mm wider for the wires in the front. Just about all 4000-5000mah packs from here are to wide for most 1/10 scale land use. Unless you want to do some mods that make your chasis weak usually.
