JR DSX9 MK2 2.4G DSM2 Transmitter w/RD921 Receiver (Mode 1)
The same as the X9303-2.4Ghz
The DSX9 is the best value high-end 8 or 9 channel radio in the market today! Plus being compatible with all Spektrum receivers and it's rich featureset it's easy to see why this radio is so popular! JR quality, unmatched product support, programming sophistication youll probably never outgrow, along with the all-important advantages of Spektrums 2.4GHz convenience and security. Thats the JR DSX9 2.4, and its the most unique advanced radio control system ever offered.
thanks for reply, I understand what you say. I'm specifically wanting to know if the transmitter will transmit in DSMX modulation/mode as all new DSX9's you see elsewhere are now capable of transmitting DSMX.
If you are at an event where their are over 100 transmitters all going DSMX will have the advantage of better filtering of noise, otherwise DSM2 will be the better choice, DSMX is the flavour of the moment but best to stick with prooven performance NOTE: the market has all new both Spectrum and JR Receivers with the big X on all their receivers now.
Follow the Forums on this conversion,
Personally I would not mess with conversion, You can access the radios service menue, but its complicated, and not recomended, why mess about with a very reliable excellent transmitter, if you value your Models and full contol of them.
DSMX is not the flavour of the moment. it is the next step beyond DSM2. . DSM2 was good but DSMX is vastly superior. Google RCmodelreviews DSMX for a better technical explanation. I would not buy this TX if it was DSM2 only, if it is new stock it should be DSMX.
Yes you can change to mode 2 best to buy the mode 2 version much simpler, Can change via menu electronically, then swap throttle mechanically inside you then must change mode for each model setup via menu as defult is mode 1
yes you can change in program to mode 1 2 3 or 4 but im not sure about the spring for centring etc but ive heard people change that easy but other than that you can chooose mode1 2 3 or 4 in the options , mines mode 1 tx but i set it up for mode3
Purchased in France and enjoy it from more than 1 year mostly for gliders. Programming glider is simple but is different if 6 chanel receiver instead of 7 or more. Everything possible finally. No transmission problem with it. Same performance than the JR3080 transformed with HC spketrum module. Only negative point is the battery pack (NiMh 1500mA delivered in F) not sufficient. Beware that it is written that 2 Lipos is not recommended ?!

I'm thinking about moving up to the DSM2 technology, just because the AR6000 receivers can at times be too big for some of the planes I fly. I do like the ModelMatch feature. I've also found it helpful to rebind my receiver after I've flown a plane a few times and have all the throws and subtrims set where I want them. That way the "fail-safe" will have the correct neutral position for all the surfaces and the correct postion for engine idle.
