Just found out that the nylon gears can't handle the torque. This servo lasted less than 3 hours in total and then stripped out a very tiny gear.

this servo work in 500 Hk ? anybody know about the other GOOD servo for HK 500.

aball, I have the same problem. Opened it and one of the drive wheels has broken teeth. You need to find a replacement drive wheel kit. Unfortunately HK does not have it for this servo. Serch the internet...

you can't. the hs-82mg has replaced the hs-81mg. the hs-82mg is currently out of stock

Hello. Have a problem with one of these. Servo jumps 'back' while moving into one direction, and then it keeps going forward. This jump happens at a certain point while going into either direction. Could this be about radio transmitter or a broken servo?

Hello, in my oponion its from a servo, maybe the gears is jump while you moving it.. or the motor is jump and make a misalignment for gears..

i dont know exactly, so sorry...

Does anyone know the amp draw for one of these? I'm using a 60amp ESC which has a 3A bec, I am not sure if that'll be enough to supply 6 servos

Get the HS82 they are almost the same but metal gear I have both types and both are very good but for choppers metal gear is better Cheers

Using this servo with a telebee gyro. The servo heats up. Tried with another HS 81 servo. Same thing happens. Why is this so?

check if it installed into DS mode =the pin on the wright side gyro.
